Spurs season is over

To be fair Tottenham had a Luongo way to go to win the league cup

posted on 20/9/11

Must admit i'm gutted with that result but you have to take into account, whilst the league cup is like the world cup to West Ham, its 4th prioity to teams like Spurs.

Is Mitchy a West Ham fan

Culty

He certainly is.

Must admit Spurs played their second team likes of VDV, Sandro in the 4th priority league cup. Shouldn't forget their 2 world cups in the last 2 decades.

Stoke was always going to be hard! least we kept a 3rd clean sheet

Keep focused on the PL

Still above Arsenal and West Ham

posted on 20/9/11

The thing is Mafia, Spurs 2nd string is actually better than, or certainly equal to, most Prem club's first XI. But mix a 2nd string with youth & then we'll find it difficult to beat teams, especially away - which is what happened today.

As i say, i wont pretend i'm not bothered but we do have bigger fish to fry.

Unlike West Ham.

Is that the same bigger fish you are trying to fry from the last 50 years..

MafiaBoy

No, the fish change from era to era, hence West Ham were a top flight team once upon a time.

Favorites to come up.

Happy to play in front 60,000 fans in a 21st century stadium.

Happy to take more than 100 fans to away games.
