HenrysCat, why don't you comment on the topic of the article...for once?"
For once? Well, because it's a thread largely full of cliched rants that have little to do with preceding comments. Like I said.
Gibbs had a bad game, there you go happy?. A lot of posts today are typically OTT and it's the same people saying the same things they always do. Not very inspiring.
I think the realitry is, and its finally hitting some people, is that we have an average set of GK's, a decent RB (Debuchy) and a kid learning his trade (Chambers)...
we have an injury prone and overrated Gibbs and an ordinary player in Monreal at LB..
We have 2 CB's and one is good on his day (Kos) and the other is slower than me and does not suit our style (which requires recovery pace more often than not) in Mert
add to this a DF option of a past it Flamini and an almost past it Arteta and its a recipe for losing games and conceeding goals....
The GK situation has not been addressed since Lehman
the CB issue, whilst OK in terms of staff (thats being polite), is woefully short of numbers, and the fullbacks range from 1 decent player to 2 ordinary ones and a kid.
The DCM options are laughable at best
All this has needed addressing for years now.... we still wait.
its little wonder we have looked like the keystone cops at the back for years....
Just commenting on something that I have observed on the Arsenal board. There seems to be a pathetic bunch of people that are hell-bent on blaming Wenger for everything that is wrong with Arsenal right now. Granted he could be doing a better job, and I want him to leave at the end of the season as well, but these people must use their brains every now and then.

Yeah let's get on the case of one of our best players last season and one of the best so far this season.
One facking game.

Can you read?
Gibbs doesn't react well to no leadership, he needs chivvying and mental support - there was none of that against Stoke with Arteta and Koscielny missing.
We were completely rudderless defensively in that first half...
