Basically if you go to the pub on a friday night, you can't drive on Saturday, until it's time to go to the pub again.

That's handy.

Killing strong beer be train tomorrow

I agree with it.

Can't go to zero simply for what Gus said about the morning after.

Not what I said. But having a small concession would stop unessecary arrests for folk who still have a small amount of alcohol left in their system from the night before.

Whaqt about people on strong pain relief that doesn't affect them but might show up on a breath test?

posted on 8/12/14

Didn't know that was possible ath. Surely the driver could carry a copy of their prescription with them?

If it states it may cause drowsiness then they shouldnt be driving. Check your insurance , it may be worthless if on meds!

Ally I don't drive when I'm on my pain killers for that reason.

I think its such a sh it law.. I stopped "getting mwi" for 6/7 weeks and such had the sociable pint or 2 before driving home!

And due to working on Saturdays and Sundays i 100% cant go out the night before unless i really watch what im doing..

Ridiculous..

People who stopped at 2 are responsible drivers

That's nonsense, Ally. "may cause drowsiness" does not mean you are drowsy.

Some people are drunk on 2.

You can't have a different rule for different people.

Why have 2 pints? If you're not getting drunk why drink alcohol?

Agreed, Magnum; just go home and have a couple, no need for the pub first.

What joker came up with this terrible idea. Just in time for the merry season as well, makes me worry about when I'm eating my Christmas dinner, my Christmas pudding with brandy and the cranberry sauce for my turkeys got wine it?

That might just tip me over the limit, cause I'll only have had a few pints
