Why shouldn't we be happy getting an extra 140k?

Should we be down and wished we only got 60k like?

It also cements the 142 year history yet again if there were lingering doubts.

And most of all, it's a girfuy tothe odious Thommo .

Ivan

It basically says Rangers are $hite at offering youth a chance, which is quite true actually, but all this talk about a dangerous precedent is a load of $hite, the rules are the rules, and they are there to protect clubs.

Its not often that a club with a bigger budget loses a promising youngster to a club on a lesser one, thats what has happened here, and United are feeling the hit due to that.

As I said earlier, if the shoe was on the other foot, and an old firm club came in and stole a very promising youth on United's books, which I am sure has happened down the years, would he be talking about dangerous precedents and all that then, would he fck, he'd use the system to get money in for the player that left, same as we did, so give yer precedent and stifling of talent pi$h a bye eh?

the can of worms opened by offering 60k would have been too much I think

Thomo has a short memory anyway regards player contracts and his club ffs

I would say young players should avoid rangers as a prospect of youth development and celtic tbh as well

we don't do enough, but rangers had a great chance to breed more, McLeod has been it really.

How many players have United signed from smaller clubs and used the tribunal system to agree a figure on??

Fcking plenty

Suddenly, United are asked to pay a hefty compo fee, and the system is now flawed...........away tae fck Thompson ya greetin faced pie

For what it's worth I don't agree with the content of the statement. Smaller clubs need to be protected.

I do agree with the overall message and the whole purpose of the statement which is to encourage parents to send their kids to Tannadice.
