15m profit then TCP.

Hazard was a bit more than that weren't he?

Has hazard been voted chelsea player of the year yet?

I see your publicity stunt that you want Gareth Bale

Good stats but don't see Mata getting much better than he is now whereas Hazard has potential to be one of the very best. Has he got the will and dedication to do so.

These stats show how good Rooney is

Rooney is a top top player simple as that.

Kind of just shows how under appreciated Mata is by us. We still hear he's a shadow of what he used to be, he still is dropped om a regular basis yet is still an incredibly useful player who regularly makes telling contributions.

I still don't think LVG particularly rates him though. We'll probably sell him at a big loss

And Hazard has the ability to be brilliant, whilst often being so. It just doesn't often click for him in away games but I see no reason why that shouldn't change. He doesn't lack effort or shirk responsibility. Probably more of a mental thing. Goal tonught will do him a world of good

I suspect he will sell him too which will be a shame indeed. Can't see us keep splashing the cash without recouping some and he is the obvious one I guess as he was a Moyes buy and LVG doesn't seem to totally trust him

Kuyt put up better goals+assist/min than that in 2010-11 playing out on the wing.

I'm having a Hafi moment

United we win

He's been dropped a lot. And statistically, we can't do better. Not this season, not in the time since he's signed and not wothout spending another 50 million

posted on 16/12/14

The problem with Mata is that he only really gets assists when another player in the team scores.

posted on 16/12/14

Kuyt could still get in your side !!!

Fair enough

But he's still our second top scorer this season. He's also set up more goals than anyone except ADM. And was equally as productive last season.

So, why shouldn't he be seen as an integral player? Because he doesn't track back much? There's a solution to that. Stop losing cheap possession and don't consider selling players who can override that by making telling contributions at the other end. Mata isn't a problem in our team, he's a solution

Kuyt also hit pens. And didn't look overly productive in open play (apart from during that game) so I'm guessing that played a part

How can you possibly call tracking back a negative thing? Until Mata misplaces a pass to an opposing player and goes on a revenge run to hack the player that got the ball and gets a booking, then he should not be considered for the first team. If he finds a team mate with a pass again then he will surely be gone in January.

Mata is so good.

I hope he is appreciated at United. Such a lovely player.

Merry, good post. You do need the other players to work just that little bit more harder with Mata in the team but on the flipside he offers so much in and around the penalty box. I don't understand when people say Mata doesn't track back. Like it's only Mata in the team that loses the ball and even if it's not Mata losing the ball, it's his sole responsibility to go get it back. Van Persie, Rooney and most of your team lose the ball quite easily too but do they all track back every single time.. Mata just seems to get the focus on him a lot more.

Cheers Mr. C.

He's not fast, he doesn't beat players and doesn't track back. Those things combined will often make people overlook the great things a player does.

Fabregas at yourselves is only so highly rated because he's on another level. His assist for that first goal tonight was clinical. But you shouldn't need to be of that ability level to be appreciated as a top player if you don't run about all over the place

Didn't Mata also cover the most ground on Sunday?

He will never be the fasted but he isn't lazy. He's been starting games recently based on form and statistically performs.
