not saying he looks as good as sako, far from it in fact but he is a left footed winger with a bit of trickery. I think we will probably struggle to keep on to sako unless our fortunes turn. I hope that I am wrong!
We all know you have logged out to read what was said Perton.
As you will do with this.
Think we will probably lose sako at the end of the season rather than in January personally.
But as things stand he will leave a gaping hole on the left as none of the other wingers has made much impression this season.
Wonder how boukari is getting along?
I can't see sako going in January either, it's a bit strange there hasn't been any talk about his contract.
I think the reason for that is obvious.
We cannot offer him what he will be looking for.
So we just don't bother.
Who knows where we will be come the end of the season.
Promotion will change things of course.
But anything less and that's it.
Cheers Gem (doffs cap....but in a full on hetro manner....not in an up the bum type way........not that I'm judging here....what one does with a consenting other of consensual age is entirely up to one's self...and the one giving the consent....unless there's rohympnol involved...as there invariably is here at Zico towers....a little something from the drinks cabinet anyone?

Last I heard, his cryogenically frozen body was being injected with a mixture of two parts Indonesian stingray eggs to one part ocelot sperm whilst a Shaman invokes the spirit of Moloch around the clock.
This was one of Solbakken's ideas, to go with his zonal marking 6-1-1-1-1 set-up that the world just wasn't ready for.
I fail to understand how anyone can watch that video package and come to the conclusion he's a winger
Haven't looked at any videos personally.
my mistake, he plays down the middle! Apologies. So why the hell are we in for the guy!??
We are desperate for an attacking midfielder/number 10, maybe he plays there?
Isn't Edwards a number 10?
He plays there, but no he sure as hell isn't a number ten.
Our attacking threat through the center is terrible, we either look to the wings or create nothing.
Of course the role of a player that the two words "No. 10" describe are understood, recognised and agreed with by everyone .
But just in case someone has been left behind perhaps Cinci could explain it to them.
A number 10 Edwards certainly is, that's his best position and he supports the striker and gets into the box better than any other player we have. How good he is in the position is open to debate but he fits the 'number 10' badge better than anyone else at the club.
But we won't see him tomorrow, not from the start anyway, because it will be an unchanged starting 11.
Wiki's description of the role, and to be honest i am struggling to find much that describes Edwards.
The attacking midfielder, usually wearing the jersey number 10, will sit in a free role between midfield and the forwards, either in the centre of the pitch or on the wings. They will often make incisive passes to the wingers or forwards, seeing them through on goal or to deliver killer crosses, as well as scoring goals themselves. They are also usually highly technical players with good vision, shooting, passing, crossing and dribbling ability, known for scoring goals as well as providing assists and initiating attacking plays. Diego Maradona was a notable attacking midfielder.
And to be clear, this isn't anything to do with bashing Edwards, but the role is pivotal to a team and Edwards simply doesn't bring enough to the table other than hard graft, which is great, but that position needs to bring so much more.
Pretty stupid post again cinci.
Give me a list of the league one and championship number tens that make incisive passes, are good at shooting, passing, crossing, dribbling, have vision and initiate attacks and provide assists.
If your point is that Edwards is not as good as Maradona then I agree with you
Appreciate the team info DJ.
I don't care what other championship players are doing DJ, I care about how wolves are doing in that department, and that answer is, 'not enough'.
So its not stupid at all, we need a guy who is good on the ball, creative and can make the team tick, not someone whose only real talent is to run his nuts off and occasionally get on the end of a cross.
I actually liked your suggestion of putting McDonald in that role, I think he would be a good choice.
Must be our first unchanged side since about week 5 or 6
Kenny won't be able to sleep. He's currently pacing around his kitchen at 0:25hrs AM, toying with the idea of putting Moxey in goal.
Back from the cruise and I see nothing much has changed. DJ still calling others posters comments rubbish or stupid 'cos (not cause) they don't agree with his agenda.
I don't see anywhere in the definition posted above that defines what league a #10 needs to play in. I'm sure not many of us can think of payers either in our league or league 1 that fits that role. However we can all name players in the Premiership, Rooney, Fabregas and Hazard are just 3.
Edwards is from the old school of 'putting a shift in" and I would describe him as a box to box player, not one that can pass the ball around as described in the 'definition' above. I also don't think he's suited in a 4-4-2 style of play although it appears that KJ is going with the same starting 11 today.
How nice to be back.
Wb wolfie yup it's still the same old bitchy name calling school playground as usual.
