Yup, settled team and settled tactics. I wish it had taken him sooner to sort but look promising.
I actually think there's not much between Stambouli and Mason. Both have attributes that compliment Dembele or Bentaleb.
Just need Lamela, Soldado, Townsend or Lennon to get some form and support Kane, Chadli and Eriksen who are all scoring.
In Poch's system all of his 'attacking 4' must carry a goal threat.
Why can't Lennon or Townsend hit the target? one has a powder puff shot, the other has a powerful shot. yet both can't score. Thats my only real moan..about them.
Lamela..well like someone said take this as his first season. was injured most of last season and was a different manager.
More optimistic but important to remember that we've very recently had shocking results against Besiktas and Crystal Palace.. very recently.
Swansea were arguably the better team at the weekend, but in answer to your question I can see that we're getting there.
Yesterday was an excellent performance. It will help us massively if Eriksen can keep up his brilliant form.
The only worry is an Eriksen plan B. If he doesn't play Lamela needs to step up and create...who knows it may work as I don't think they both working the same team. Lamela cuts in far too much..it doesn't even mater what flank he starts on.
I watched him on the left once...he still cuts in..really strange mentality to cut in on your weaker foot.
By improvement, Chronic means the win against a weakened Newcastle side and the robbery at Swansea.
Can people wait before prematurely blowing their load again, like after QPR and Everton.
An improvement is knowing what his first team is, irrespective of results . I think we can now safely name 9-10 players that appear to be his starting line up
Lloris
Walker
Fazio
Verts
Davies
Bentaleb
Mason
Kane
Eriksen
Chadli
We didn't know this for months ?!!
Hmmm, depends on the weekend. I have a feeling he'll put Lamela on the right again.....
Essential Lennon or Townsend start right if we are going with Chadli and Eriksen sharing the left/central positions
RC you are such an utter tiiiit it's unreal
He's just upset that the pulis in will have to wait

Which is why he's not a winger.. We should try him through the middle imo - he tackles like a striker and can finish given the chance.
What is it with Moronic and Vlad
"He's a terrible defender...but let's keep him because he might become good going forward"
Just not rational.
?
Can begin to see signs of a core within our team.... Not the strongest core by any stretch but it gives us a platform to work from.
BAE isn't going anywhere unless we pay him off in full. Pure mercenary who seems content to sit around and collect his dough. Would gladly see the back of Dumbele, Paulinho and Ade too.
As for the flanks? Chadli must play, it's that simple. If Lamela wants to play too then he'll need to adapt to being a winger and NOT a wannabe number 10. Lennon is limited but at least you'll know what you'll get from him. Less said about Townsend the better IMO...

Still to early to say IMO and I wont get carried away by last nights result even tho I am very happy about it.
I thought we had turned a corner after the Everton game only to see a very ineffective Lamela line up against Swansea so for me the jury is still out
