It sounds like we are after that Lucas Silva guy, don't know anything about him though.

Probably sign a DM and a CB, but it will be the 16 year old polish kid and 21 year old championship CB Mings. Would be classic wenger! Haha.

Might turn out to be great players in a few years, but it's the experience we crave

Yep, but highly rated so £1.6M could be a bargain. Surely, he is not the DM we need right now, which could mean Wenger will go for someone late 20's in January.
Or that me just dreaming.

I'd be happy if he signed this kid, Mings(if he is any good) and Khedira.

With Wenger in charge of his development he will probably be injury prone by 17 and will be the new Diaby who was meant to be the first new Vieira.

I doubt Khedira is going any where in January but will be hot property on the freebie market next summer. Lots of rumours about this Silva as well as Mings and now this young player from Poland. Well none of the above solves our problems for this season unless we are kissing goodbye to another season.

For me it does not matter who we get in the engine room of our team until Arsene learns to set his teams up to win first and entertain later. He has gone headlong into trying to play attractive football and forgotten about setting up and buying players to fulfil the task at hand. We have done well to get rid of a lot a of deadwood at the club in recent years and with the culling of a few more (Arteta (may seem harsh but not the standard needed if we are to win major trophies), Flamini, Diaby, Rosicky and if they are not going to play Campbell and Podolski and replaced with top quality.

Not going to provide names but 1 top drawer CB and 2 quality players in the middle of the park, one clearly with the intent of winning the ball and protecting the back the back 4 and the other who can play the "donkey role" but also play as an auxiliary CB,and a genuine world class striker to complete the squad.

Realistically I think the DM who could play CB will be all we will get in January and the rest in the summer.
