no, high salary and why would we want another striker who can't find the back of net
How many examples of what a terrible player he's become since leaving us do you need to persuade you he'd be an awful signing?
nostalgia getting teh better of me maybe, but still I would rather him in the team than what we currently have to back up sturridge. I think he offers more.
I just have a feeling that we wont be spending much money in January and if we do it wont be on a striker.

With him and Balotelli up front we could challenge for the title
Since leaving us, he's scored the grand total of 21 goals in 120 appearances. Do you really think he's better than anything we already have?

Blarmy, you're right, there was no way of knowing how far he would fall when we sold him, but he was finished before he left us imo.
As for resigning him? No chance I hope. However, if he was still here he would be getting games, so who knows? Hope not though.

It really isnt something you expect from a player at that age that can stil run fairly quickly. I mean look at Drogba, he is 36 now but still infinitely more useful to us than Torres would be

Despite all his problems he was a top scorer in Europe still and especially the Europy so that would be good for you.
How funny would it be if we signed him, he grew his hair long and blonde and started banging them in. Chelsea board will be in a meltdown.
Highly unlikely though

That's odd because in 12/13 alone he scored 22.

Got my figures off Wiki, so no chance they could be wrong.
I see you still live your life to nit pick people's comments. Whatever his stats are, he's still shît. No doubt you'll come back saying he's world class
Dear DaveLFC,
No offence, but hasn't this question been asked and answered ad nauseaum on this board on this site since he left the club?
Do we really need to go through it again and again every time a transfer window looms and the dumb azz Red Tops start going 2 plus 2 = 7??
5 btw, great article

Too true RAP.
Theres no baggage for us with Turan tho.
El Nino on the other hand, well she got fat and ineffective. We’ve moved on.

Would you take Torres back?
