I mean where is Scott Brown? He'd boss a majority of his peers, regardless of where they are from.

I'd have John Terry in my teams! Still one of the best defenders in Europe.

Seems a good list to me. Expect Kane to be 1st next year.

Main probs I see is Azpilicueta is the best defender of all of those and David Luiz should not be in the top 1000!

posted on 23/12/14

U think Azpi should be higher? Agreed. I'd say after Lahm and Masch he is the most intelligent player around.

Luiz is in there and you are complaining about JT.

posted on 23/12/14

Aww bless are the little spu dlings upset that none of their players got in?

Terry is the best defender in the league after Kompany, of course he should be in there.

Gerrard being in there = List is made up of fuds

Absolute nonsense all these endless lists the papers print. It is all subjective to which team you support, to whom you think is the best.

FFS just seen Jack Wilshire in there.

Finally concrete proof that Spurs have no players better than Jack Wilshere

Genius at work, his name is Thierry Henry

What a newspaper article written by a journalist is how you judge the best players in Europe. Yeh right precious. Funny farm for you I think.

Crespo, Gilberto, Hamann, Bilic + 73 football experts came together to calculate this list. I think they know more than a few bitter Spurs fans tbh.

Congrats Jack

Enner Valencia is on the list too, so West Ham a player better than anyone at Spurs, too

As well as Swansea.

Ans unless he's in the top ten, Lloris will be behind Rogerio Ceni.

John terry definitely deserves to be in there.

First choice cb for one of the best teams in the world.

How can you possibly argue that he shouldn't be?! Exceptional player. tho.

Firstly, Spurs are represented on the list, no 76, Lloris! You lot need to learn how to read.

Secondly, the list only has value when sorted into player speciality, ie defenders. And then you must read their position in the defenders list starting at no 1.

And lastly, even the Guardian says it is subjective, no doubt loaded with bias, and should not be taken as definitive.

luiz and wilshere wouldnt make my top 500.

luiz makes a mistake everygame and his positioning is non existent.

i see stats on wilshere the other day forget he is always injured but assists and goals were really poor. tacking completion was poor and surprisingly his pass completion was poor. if i compared the stats to jake livermore they wouldnt be far off each other.

He has gone missing for Chelsea a lot this season..

No one has even complained about the absence of Spurs players on the list. I think Lloris should be higher than 76 as he is easily in the top 6 keepers in the world. I also think Eriksen should be top 100.

We are slating the list because Ozil is 54

Gervinho
