Kramer just signed a new contract.

My opinion is that Wenger has had 9 seasons in which to address the same set of problems; injuries, lack of defensive cover, lack of defensive tact and no proper DM before finally succumbing from failure to re-sign Fabregas.

We can let transfer windows keep passing us by but the fact remains is that these things will never be addressed because you cannot teach an old dog new tricks.
United may have their own set of problems but they're still above us in the table!

I think in Jan we should sign Christoph Kramer who is a German footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Borussia Mönchengladbach, on loan from Bayer Leverksuian...

Forget about Kramer. He will be back in Leverkusen in the summer and sign a new contract there until 2019. Wages 3M per year.

I agree but wenger was under severe money constraints for 8 out of those 9 years... chelsea have had 10 years of spending... we should afford him more time at the very least dont you think?

Deal is done....In the next sumer his loan ends and he will be back at Leverkusen to sign a new contract.

What about tactics?

Unfortunately our manager is being left behind on that front and refuses to adapt

We should do all we can to get Schneiderlin imo. Forget anyone else. Offer Southampton 30m+

Ffs we made pool look like Barca in their hay day

Schneiderlin would be ideal but not going to happen

We will probably just bring in a defender on loan

We'll bring in a midfielder but it'll be some 16 year old Polish kid. Apparently he will be going straight into the first team

Whilst I think he probably was under some constraint I don't think that really makes up for making the same mistakes time and again. Even when there was less money for signings he still failed to improve us defensively and it would appear that he didn't really try (which suggests he really does think 2 CBs is sufficient for a whole season inc. CL). Obvious examples include persisting with Almunia for something like 6 years, that last minute transfer panic a few years back and replacing RVP with Giroud!
