Last season in particular he seemed to forget he was a winger, not a striker. The number of times I saw him shoot rather than pass and fluff up a good chance as a result...

I doubt alex will leave, we have JT, luiz, branny and alex and you need 4 centre backs. Especially with their injury records.

I think id rather have anelka leave but i think he will see his contract out and walk away for free, at least malouda still managed to get goals and assists.

Has been a detriment to the team since the turn of the year. Slows play down to a snails pace and constantly picks the wrong option once he's finally decided to release the ball (5 seconds too late usually)..... Unfortunately exactly the same can be said of Anelka.

i would have rather see kalou leave than Malouda, he is a different type of player than Mata is, and without him we wont have a natural wing in our team, still i think i would keep him another year instead of selling him for just 5 m, Anelka or Kalou out sounds better to me to be honest

The fact is, the season before he was truly awesome and never really got the praise he was due. Yes he should have been in the PFA team of the year, but this guy should have been player of the year... SERIOUS.

He was so crucial to the way Carlo made us play. It's funny how no one criticized him in that year for not staying wide when he played exactly the same way then.
