Fabregas is a dirty cheat. He kicked another players foot.

No,the young defender caught him,and it was a pen......not a yellow card, but we do have divers,so ref's will be wary, and they will make errors.

I don't think it was a penalty tbh, neither yellow card, I am not surprise about not getting any because of ivanovic, William or other players diving in past. jose should say something.

Would have a harsh pen,but we needed it.

I am biased.

Chelsea have a reputation for diving so it's hard for the refs to get it right all the time.

It's hard to beat Burnley at home too

Putting all the petty rivalries aside - it was a penalty. Fabregas was excellent today too.

The refs big moment in the game - and he fluffed his lines!

You've got a point. I think the ref made a decision based on highlights from previous games. It was a very poor decision though - he has to do better than that. It was pretty clear cut.

It doesn't matter if he dived, didn't dive got a penalty and scored or not - we lost because we didn't bring Remy on earlier apparently

I think that Mourinho should speak to Ivanovic as he is a serial diver and he will cost you many decisions. Ironically, I think the one against West Ham was a penalty but he so often falls over that it's embarrassing.

We lost and we are not top of the league in the new year 3 points clear. Something is wrong.

Deserved to drop 2 points just for playing Ivanovic again. Diver and a joke of a passer

No Superb said that on the form of Drogba we should be playing Remy in front of him!

And he would be right!

depends, if it's ivan or gary then you'd guess a big dive, cesc less so. Refs guess like everyone else.

No he didn't - I believe he said we won't win or lose without Remy coming on. Emphasised the whole result on that sub.

We have a reputation for diving and every time one of our players goes down they are accused of diving.

The refs should do something about it but they are not consistent booking players for diving when there is clear contact and not booking them when there isn't. In todays case Fabregas did not get booked on the incident but the reputation we have picked up.

The truth of the matter is our players are NO WORSE than any others. If anything some get more physical attention than most (Hazard and Costa for example) and the refs like to give the opposition a chance to impose themselves but sometimes they let it go too far. Other times they are so quick to book our players it just enhances the reputation. If our players went down screaming for a pen or free kick everytime then fine, but in the case of more than half of the recent bookings no claims have been made. Players fall down in challenges throughout any game, on both sides. There will never be a game when some one doesn't, it's hard to keep your balance, control a ball and keep your fee sometimes with the speed and movement in the game these days, When one of ours has the attention of two players who are jostling him fairly or not the chances are he will get unbalanced and a fall should not be un expected.

I don't mind refs cracking down on diving, but there should be some consistency to it and please do not try and pretend it only happens at Chelsea or that we are worse than anyone else.
