We made plenty of noise at Anfield
Twice in the same year
We were both in similar situations, we were losing the tie and needed a goal, you were about to throw the title back in City's hands so needed a goal.
You constantly call yourselves the best fans in the world, yet you were needed big time against Chelsea and you were nowhere to be seen
Furthermore we don't hype Stamford Bridge to be one of the best atmospheres in Europe, you lot were running your mouths in the build up to the game saying the atmosphere will be like nothing expierenced in England before, and it was woeful, your chance to all but win the league and the "famous Anfield crowd" were woeful
80% of Chelsea fans will not be celebrating a league trophy until the last game of the season is played.
Last season 80% of Pool fans had one of these for Christmas >

Liverpool fans were a massive embarrassment last season. I don't think there is any doubt about that
Bats, and they still don't get why they get the most stick for not winning it.

trying to compare liverpools fans with chelsea,s new modern fanboys

Listen up Sonny. I like many others have been around since the late 60's. Ask your dad if you can find him.
We know who we are we know our history and we dont take sht from anyone. We are realistic. We don't get ahead of ourselves and we NEVER line the streets like some victory in the run in to a season.
We don't mug our own supporters for tickets

We don't play the victim card and I would NEVER want to be compared to your hyped up club

Similar situations? A second leg of a game compared to a normal league game? Erm....ok if you say so.
There was plenty of noise for the first 40 minutes until Gerrard's slip. That obviously took the wind out of our sails.
It'd be impossible for you to hype up Stamford Bridge as we all know you'd be lying.
Straight from the mouth of the Special one. “At this moment it’s difficult for us to play at home though, because playing here is like playing in an empty stadium"
When your own manager says it must be bad.
The great Anfield atmosphere myth!
A chorus of YNWA before the KO, assisted by having it played over the loudspeaker system, followed by 90 minutes where it's no better or worse than most grounds the length and breadth of the country!
So a manager speaking the truth is Bad
Normal league game it was your chance to all but win the league for the first time in 24 years, normal league game
As for plenty of noise, the only noise from you lot all game was your cringeworthy attempt to try and promote yourselves as great fans after Willian sealed the game.
And I think your find most of us accept that something needs to be done about improving the atmosphere at The Bridge, it just rather ironic when fans of teams whoalso have bad aatmospheres most of the time (Anfield falls into that category whether you like it or not) trying to take digs.
The atmosphere at most grounds since all seating stadia is now poor, compared to the old days of terracing.
Ironically some of the better atmosphere's can be found at grounds were fans can get away with standing at their seats without having the threat of being thrown out by stewards, Palace being a good example!
I don't expect it to return to the old days while I'm forced to sit and behave like a zombie!
Predictably I don't enjoy match days as I did in the 70s and 80s!
Anfield was dead when we played them the other day.
They got so far ahead if themselves it was quite pitiful
A very embarrassing set if followers. So glad they facked it up, and seeing them back to where they belong in midtable mediocrity is the icing on the cake for all football fans.
Its hilarious reading them pontificate over which world class signing they will make when the reality is they are Lambert standard these days. Whilst top players constantly go out of their way to distance them selves with any possibility of joining their club and their betters, City, Arsenal, Utd and Chelsea continue to improve and attract the best talent around.
I've been to many away games at Anfield over the years and several things are clear, sh|tty city, sh|tty supporters, sh|tty stadium.
No wonder Suarez wanted out, even though they could offer CL, and Sterling will be off, same as Alonso, Masch etc. They all end up wanting out.
Only the average and unambitious join or stay at that club.
Becausr that's what the club stands for for the last 25 years.
Top clubs win their leagues in less than a quarter of a century.
Didn't Brenda bang on about the world famous European night atmosphere that Basel would encounter?
How did that go?

Not entirely correct. John Moores of Littlewoods was a minority shareholder. He was however Chairman of Everton.
It was only in the 90s that David Moores, nephew of John, became majority shareholder and as you well know, we haven't won the league since then.
this is so us, we'd probably pay 25mil for delph and a few mil on ashley williama
That great Anfield atmosphere again - I can hear individual conversations going on here
Bet you can't understand it though
