He is no better then Giroud to be honest... flavour of the month.
He would also cost £15-20m which we should be looking to invest in an proper DM.
He looks awful every time I watch him. I mean he'll score but he's just so championship, his style of play, his hair cut, the way he celebrates. Just very Championship.
No. He's just in a good run of form. He won't be able to keep it up past a season. You see players like him every season. They score a load of goals, then next season gets about 5. He's a Flavour of the month player. He Would be perfect for Liverpool, he could partner berahino
He's the modern Clive Allen - so NO !

Kind of player liverpool will buy
Why not? I'm a big fan of Wenger's new drive towards English talent. If we'll have to kiss a few frogs on the way, then so be it. Seeing the Ox with the assist for Welbeck's goal yesterday, made me feel all warm inside.
Puns not intended.
no chance Austin is as good as bent was.
This isn't serious is it. It better not be.
he looks ok, see what his stats are in 12 to 18 months as he looks like a player who will do well initially, then just dissappear.
would rather put the 15 - 20 mil towards a top class forward (with the DCM and CB situation obviously more pressing)
Charlie Austin = Micky Quinn from yesteryear. Only parallel I could find.
He played with walcott at u10s apparently, forming a lethal partnership, we could rekindle that!

Heh, I think exactly the same. He could score 30 this season and I probably still would.
I'm a lifelong R's fan and he's been our lifeline this season, but i think the world and is dog know he ain't the real deal.
No, let Spurs or Liverpool buy him, he'll fit in better.
I guarantee that you're one of those who complains about the squad not being good enough. Then you suggest signing a Championship player like Charlie Austin. I see Arsenal fans go for the flavour of the month, every season.
Bottom line is, Charlie Austin is not an Arsenal player.

I said that from what Ive seen of him he didn't look good enough but it was still worth asking the question what others think. He is 3rd in PL goal scorers at the moment which is a good achievement.
Yes he is worth a punt...............oh wait, i'm not a Spurs fan
Nope... he more like in the Everton/Liverpool,Spurs level... Might look decent in the lower level, but then again... even Lord Bendtner looked great at Sunderland and Birmingham
