Costa and Drogba have both played well so far this season. Not much reason for Remy to have been given much game time thus far.

I agree, been making this point for a while.

Yes. Spending £20-30m on Bony would be pointless for us. Costa looks to be over his injury problems as well.

For next season as well cover for 2nd half of this season, wouldn't be surprised if Remy leaves in January.

From what I have seen from Remy thus far (which I know is a small sample size) he knows how to score but doesn't do much else. Unless he is near the box he tends to be quite static and struggles holding the ball up/linking the play as a lone striker.

Both Costa and Drogba have been scoring and leading the line effectively for the most part. I don't see what special quality Remy will bring.

Completely agree on all points - have been saying as much, some think they are ridiculous points though

Although I'm no fan of Cahill's - we do have the best defence in the league so far, I don't see us disturbing the balance there (plus he is english) until summer, unless you're talking about making a big move to bring in a cover.

Agree with CM and wing.

You're probably right with Remy - only 6 months here and he probably thinks his chance will come soon with an injury to one of the two main strikers. However given that I think it was a last minute desperate move from the club to sign Remy - I wouldn't be surprised if he was let go this January if an opportunity to sign a player of Jose's like comes up.

Why would Chelsea be looking at Bony in January? A January purchase makes it seem like a panic buy - and I don't think we need to panic right now. He's a great player - and I can understand us wanting him to replace Drogba - but why wouldn't we do that in the Summer?

Bony isn't cup tied (except the Cap one)..he's top quality...& if Costa gets injured...we're light (like City with Aguero)...& say what you will Drogs aint getting 20 goals a season now...which leaves Remy...& if as it seems Jose isn't keen..he won't use him unless he has to

Aguero's injuries are why they arte looking at him, we aren't - but possibly should be

Gazza...surely you've seen enough of Remy at Newcastle & QPR (when he's not injured tbf) to see what he brings...clever little player basically..with an eye for goal...he doesn't have to do what others do...he's a different asset
