Football fans never said this.Who said this were those moronic sheep whose club loyalties just blinded them. Lampard easily one of the top midfielders in Europe in the last 15 years - probably more appreciated abroad (certainly by the Catalan media and Barça fans) than in England. He still has a couple of years left in him but you can understand why Chelsea had to let him go too.
