Ledley, it's not even a biased view - it's the correct view. Fazio won the ball, no question. Hazard got straight up and carried on too, every man and his dog knows that if his heels had been clipped he would have spread eagled!!

Exactly. But of course Mr Conspiracy had to try and invent some suspicion around it to try and mask Cahill defending like Titus Bramble after a night out with Snoop Dogg.

Nobody likes to lose football matches but this sort of behaviour is why they generally can't stand him in Italy and Spain. So ungracious in defeat and concocts some conspiracy theory which they could all see through and made him unpopular. No class whatsover, no wonder United wouldn't consider him for the job

3) Pity for Cahill. I'd be upset if I'd been given the runaround by a 21 year old

That would be funny if it didn't actually happen every game he plays. A complete liability

FA: You're both nicked mate. Aiding and Abetting an assault.

Just noticed that Cahill then stamps on Kanes calf. Assault and Battery...

For Mourinho to say he did not see that is outrageous.
The man is obviously lying through his teeth, funny how he saw the throw in though?

He was ball watching Genius. When Fazio tackled Hazard Maureen was looking at their feet from 60 yards away.

This is what I mean, the hypocrisy is staggering yet laughable at the same time. Bit-by-bit it seems as though the media in this country are beginning to see through his nonsense and not focus on it so much.

As for his "protection for Hazard" campaign and being against "19th century football", I wonder if he's ever seen this clip of how his Madrid team were perceived.....

Wish a journalist would show him this one day at a press conference

Fascinating Ledley. He's poison. Get someone to hack the big screen at WHL and show these clips before kick off the next time they come to stink up our changing rooms.

It's only poisonous of the media buy into it and oblige by highlighting his comments rather than seeing through it and calling him out on it. Same tactic he tried at Madrid but the media didn't buy it and then the players got sick of it, hence why most of the country and also his players didn't exactly shed a tear when he left.

The media have nothing to work with as far as Maureen goes anymore as its the same old rubbish churned out every season when results don't go their way. He has added a slight twist in that it's mainly the media's fault who are now influencing officials so he's actually biting that hand that previously fed him so slavishly. He's poison, his press talks are now dull and samey and the cap doffing is drying up. He now answers questions with a question of his own, how interesting and clever of him.

According to Sky sources:

Mourinho won't be charged by the FA for calling/implying that Dowd wasn't quick or fit enough to keep up with the Hazard incident.
Also, Dowd saw the Cahill incident with Kane and saw nothing in it so Cahill won't get charged either.... Shock horror

Ah well Ledley, we didn't expect the FA to do anything and Dowd is probably taking the easiest route out. Maureen is blaming him for not seeing so much on the day he is not likely to say he didn't see a blatant kick. We saw it though and that's what matters...

I knew they wouldn't punish him either, yet Routledge saw red for a kick about as violent as that! If the refs and FA's view is that Cahill was trying to play the ball then that speaks volumes of their opinion of him as they clearly see him as the type who licks windows as the ball was nowhere near where he aimed

Yes and the ball was already 2 foot out of play so why the hell was he still going for it.

Out of all the decisions yesterday the worst one in my opinion (and I commented immediately on the match thread I did not have to watch it 5 times) was the challenge on Rose as he scored.

That was a yellow at the very least and there is no excuse for the ref not seeing it and dealing with it

don

try to be a bit more forthright when you do an article rather than sitting on the fence about cahill

The tackle on Rose was potentially very dangerous and could have been career threatening if Cahill had connected with Rose before he kicked the ball.

To not even Cahill was a poor refereeing decision in my book.

That. Is. Ridiculous.

Dowd didn't "see" the incident, he may have seen a bit of argy bargy or whatever but he didn't see Cahill kick Kane with no intention of getting the ball.

It would be interesting to hear Dowd's explanation of what exactly he did see re Cahill kicking and stamping on Kane.

So Phil what exactly did you see?

I saw Mr Cahill's foot caught under Mr Kane's body and he had to pull it hard to get it free, unfortunately Mr Kane's back then moved backwards at 40mph & Mr Cahill was unable to get his foot out of the way.
This unbalanced Mr Cahill and he then put his foot down to steady himself, however Mr Kane was careless and placed his ankle right under Mr Cahill's studs!

I did consider carding Mr Kane for his inconsuderation, but felt that the pain he was in was sufficient punishment.

I must apologise to Mr Mourinho for not following the coded pre match instructions he gave during his pre match press conference.
I blame the lack of Chelsea penalties and Spurs getting 5 goals on my WeightWatchers tablets interfering with my metabolism, and ensuring I actuall made the right wrong decisions!

Saddo that I am I have emailed the FA asking for more clarification over the Stirling / Cahill decisions since MLT has accused the FA of favouring England regulars live on SS. They are demanding FIFA show more accountability, seems to me they have to practice what they preach.
