It could be due to the fixture congestion, He's struggled around this period since he arrived, Man City are winning but they are also finding it difficult let's not forget. I expect to see 5/6 players rested against Watford. I expect also to see blood on the pitch at the end of the game against Newcastle. The players have a point to prove now.
I can't remember him doing anything of note yesterday. He's certainly not a player you can turn to when the chips are down.
Like Willian he's a decent squad player to play in rotation but he's not good enough to be a first choice player throughout the season.
Oscar and Willian are the obvious 'weak-links' of your starting XI (possibly with Cahill?).
Would assume these two will be the ones in mind when you strengthen in the summer. (wide attacker and deeper midfielder and let Cesc play further forward?)

Yup I'd imagine we'll be seeing a lot more of Mikel alongside Magic although I don't think that's a particularly good think as Mikel is such a limited player.
There was a rumour our about Khedira coming in and a Matic-Khedira CM would make a lot more sense to me than Matic-Mikel.
Either way not sure we'll get the best out of Cesc if we push him further up but it might work.
I'd like to see us go 4-3-3 with Ramires, Matic and Cesc. It would mean not having to push Cesc up too far whilst we'd probably get the best out of Ramires too.
I like Oscar.
Mourinho gives him a lot to do off the ball and he does a very good job but he has such quality in the final third at times I guess we don't see it enough. There's not many with better stats in the league and I do think he'll keep improving. I'd have him at LFC in a heartbeat.

Yeah I'd like to that. Ramires in a 4-3-3 works for whatever reason.
That way we'd only have to play one of William or Oscar. Maybe neither if Shirley can find some form.
Also no Mikel in that formation which can only be a good thing.

Oscar is excellent off the ball and defensively (I think he was ill yesterday).....going forward he is vastly inferior to Juan Mata though....and our lack of creativity last season killed us...
I think Oscar has the potential to be a worldie of a CM - especially in a 4-3-3 he could be a more technical version of Lampard....
but he just isnt good enough as a number 10.
Oscar has featured 3 times since Newcastle. 2 of those games he played well and to single out Oscar for yesterday's performance would be idiotic (he actually got an assist). Not sure why you or anyone else think 'he is already on his winter vacation until april'. He hasn't been through a bad run of form so far this season.

I find this board notoriously bad for this sort of comment.
An example of this would be a couple of years ago I said that IMO, McEachran should be slowly integrated into the 1st team.
This became roughly translated to "I want McEachran to replace Lampard in the 1st eleven", according to half the board!
The main poster I remember saying that is KDB, not trying to single him out he's just the only one I remember
Tbh McEachran is ready to replace Fabregas.

I thought ramires played very well when he came on, infact I still cant believe we lost the game, even with conceding 5

I like Oscar.
