Would like him at United also. Cracking player.
Love to have him
really doubt he'll be anywhere near as good as Gerrard but he'll be class
It would be nice to think we would put in a bid. But it would take a mega offer probably in excess of 30m. FSG wouldn't bank roll a signing like that. We might get Fabian Delph though
apart from the fact hes nothing like Gerrard i agree, not in the same league
The only man to replace Gerrard like for like
-------
No he can't, he's nothing like Gerrard.
Although a good player absolutely not. He is nothing like gerrard and is nit a team player. He hardly ever passes and gies for glory too much.
Would never happen but pogba would be ideal replacement for gerrard
He's nothing like Gerrard and vastly overrated. Coutinho, Lallana, and Sterling can all play in his position as well.
Should he regain full fitness, the player I'd love as a replacement for Gerrard would be Gundogan. No chance we'd get him though
Agreed, vastly overrated and nothing like Gerrard.
He's more like a really crap version of the young Wayne Rooney, without a footballing brain.
30m Would be a massive waste.
No thanks, massive cost, unfair pressure and I dont think he'll be near gerrard was at his prime.
What gerrard are we placing anyway, the deep playmaker or the attacking mid version?
Emre can fill that deep role imo
Someone like Cabaye can do the job that Gerrard has been doing for the last 3-4 years.
I don't think you'll be looking to replace either version of him, to be honest.
We don't need another AM. I think we'll sell one of Lucas or Allen, buy one CM and promote a youth player, either Teixera or Rossiter, to the 1st team squad.
Henderson, Can, New CM, Lucas/Allen, Teixera
We have a ready-made replacement. His name is Emre Can. He won't be up to speed by yesterday, as some will demand, but he will get there, trust me. I fully sign up to the idea of Texiera and Jordan Rossiter joining, I would also add Suso. Now. Before he goes elsewhere.

Good player, but absolutely nowhere near as good as the hype machine suggests.
As if he would come to us and that's even if you somehow believe Everton would sell him to us.
I do agree though, I'd love him at Liverpool. I wouldn't call it like for like. There are no players like Gerrard anymore, he was the last of his kind.
I really don't understand people at times, including my fellow Reds at times. We've lost Siarez will be losing StevieG. What makes people think that there's a ready-made replacement, waiting in the wings, anywhere on planet Earth, ready willing and able to step into their shoes?
These two players, each of whom blessed the fields at Anfield with their presence are near impossible to replicate. Time for our manager to earn his corn and adapt, accordingly, with who he's got.

I am looking forward to seeing Lallana, Coutinho and Sterling behind Sturridge at some stage I must say as obviously Barkley won't happen.
Then Hendo and Can playing as the two in centre mid.
