Never really known what to make of Shaqiri. Looks talented but lazy and has spent the last couple of years on Bayern's bench.

So basically we told Shaq, we will like to buy him in summer because at the moment we cant afford you but in summer Gerrard and Johnson leave.

In the meantime you are free to stay on the Bayern bench or go out on loan.

I know how this will sound but it's not meant to be the insult you will take it as. Apart from the culture and weather and the city, he's more likely to win trophies at Milan. If it were United or Arsenal calling, I think he'd think seriously but to go to Liverpool and probably not even make top 4 is a harder decision.

I'm pretty glad we didn't get him tbh, we don't need another attacking midfielder, priority is a GK and getting a better striker in.
