We've done well overall so no need to go overboard
Got faith in poch
Spurs have a better than average team, but they seem to have a mental problem, they seem to completely switch off once they go in front. They have thrown away so many leads this season, but they can go behind to teams like Chelsea and come back and win convincingly. It seems they just do not seem to be able to put teams to the sword when going in front. Sanme thing happened at Burnley just a few days ago, as happened at the Emirates and Sunderland. For an hour today they were easily the better side, as soon as they went in front, they just folded completely. Something seriously wrong in the players heads.
This happens in football. Team gets a new manager and play out of their skins for a few weeks. They'll soon be struggling again.
Effort on the field means SO much, people often underrate it and concentrate too much on tactics and personnel. This is where spurs are so frustrating. We can turn it on and fight but it's not consistent. This is exactly why we need an experienced tough as Fack CM who will drag us through games like this and get a fight into us when our heads drop.
We have probably the 5th or 6th best team in the league.
We are going to win big games like the Chelsea one on the odd occasion.
We are going to lose games like Palace or West Brom.
Seven match unbeaten run suggests we are making progress, so we should keep calm and hope to get back on track.
Sandy-are we better than average?
I look at our team and think Lloris is class, Eriksen, excellent. Kane has been a revelation and personally I think Bentaleb is top drawer.
But compare us to the likes of Arsenal and Man u and we're miles behind. I really hope this top 4 obsession ends soon, because we're not good enough. We need a couple of seasons of Poch developing the youngsters like he has Kane and we can challenge then.

Just goes to show how clueless Baldini and Levy are when a couple of kids are far better than Paulinho (£17m), Dembele (£15m), Capoue (£10m) and Stambouli (£5m). Laughable really.
I thought stambouli was decent other than his mad decision to slide in for the pen

Before today Stambouli would not be on that list. He made a stupid decision but it is only his fourth start, I think in the league.
Dembele has a load of talent but doesn't use it properly. Signed before Baldini arrived but you can see why we went for him, he just isn't achieving his potential.

Sandy-are we better than average
Yes were are a lot better than average, and Arsenal and United are certainly not that better, if they are indeed better. You have to remember Spurs have already played 10 more games than United this season and are involved in two more competitions, and Arsenal are still behind Spurs in the league, and neither have actually beaten Spurs this season, so to say Spurs are miles behind both those teams is way off the mark.

You do realise this is Arsenal's worst start to a season in 30 years and man utd who are transition are right back up there after 1 bad season. Liverpool at their best challenge for the title. You are where you are because Arsenal and Liverpool have been poor
You do realise this is Arsenal's worst start to a season in 30 years
Not that old chestnut again. The season is halfway through, so it is nowhere near their worse start.
man utd who are transition
They have spent a quarter of a billion pounds, and are just 2 points in front of Spurs and in two less competitions. Utter nonsense to say they are in transition.

Hardly nonsense. Spurs only seem to call a season good the moment they see Arsenal struggle or temporarily above us. We always finish above you and are still not happy with our clubs ambition. Like I said before, you are only where you are because Arsenal and Liverpool are having a poor season.
Chatterer
arsenal have not been anywhere the top of the tree for near on a decade now, so they are not having a poor season, they are around about where they have been for years now. Liverpool have finished behind Spurs for four of the last five seasons, so they are about where they have been for a number of years as well. A one oFf season challenging for the top spot last year does not make them perennial title challengers, when they have not won a title for 25 plus years.
Whether you like it or not Arsenal, Liverpool and SpuraS are all at the same level now.
Chatterer, not sure where you going with your username but you sure chatterer a load of s hit!! If were going by your logic of Arsenal finishing above us every season (which is true) then why bring liverpool into the debate? apart from last season we have p issed over liverpool in the last 4/5 seasons finishing above them comfortably every single time so you bulls hit about how you and Liverpool are having bad seasons holds no ground whatsoever. You have spent over 30 million on Sanchez who supposedly was meant to make you challenge for the title and you are still in a battle for top 4 with us once again. You are always in a battle with us for 4th because your no better. As usual you will scrape 4th place on the last day of the season like you have on so many occasions. Wake up and smell the coffee you deluded tw at!!! You battle with us for 4th every season
£145m spend for man utd is now a quarter of a billion in sandy logic
spurs havent exactly been tightening the purse strings either have they

I wouldn't say we're an average team, but we are extremely dependent on Kane and Lloris. Kane's performances have lifted us a lot since he came into the first team. He is the only outfield player who you can say has been consistent almost all the way through.
Get some more bloody quality in the side. Sign Berahino up.

know people were getting carried away after Chelsea, but the reality is we are an average team.
I cant argue with that
