Decent money for a nobody

If this goes through, we will actually have made a profit off of him. How?

£2.7m wasn't it? Tidy profit indeed.

Why make a £10m player worth £14/15m? No need to bring him back when we can't even find game time for Balo and Lambert.

And Origi is doing shïte at lille..

posted on 12/1/15

Exactly, it's damaging his confidence staying there.

He wants to be here, we want him here, may as well make it happen.

Funny how this week people have been lecturing on not being harsh on 20 yr old Markovic who was bound to take time to settle yet they can't afford the same age allowances for 19 yr old Origi.

Origi isn't here to settle..

He's in a team that he's played in for some time, his example is not comparable to markovich, but more to that of sterling in the first half of last season when he was not playing well..

Sterling stuck ot out, and through hard work his performances improves and he learnt something about playing under pressure. Origi should probably stay at lille to experience the pressure of expectation.

It will be more beneficial for Origi to join us during pre season, with all the team bonding, camps, tours etc to imbed in.

If Origi doesn't want to be at Lille there is no benefit to him being there, for him nor us.

His head is at Anfield, and if reports in France are to be believed so will his body be as soon as Lille sign a replacement.

Get used to it

I'm not unhappy with it righteous so there's nothing to get used to.

However I think it raises questions about his mentality. He was happy to spend a season there on loan, but as soon as the going got tough for him his heads gone and he's looking for a way out

Di Maria's head is in PSG but he still has to perform for United

Who actuslly said he is? Its just papertalk, lille are dreadfull

Looking for a way out?

hes done quite a few press conferences saying he cant wait to play in the english league/ for liverpool, i believe he has also stated publicly that he's welcoming to an early transfer

And yes lille are awful, but they are in an awful league, the lad should still focus on the task at hand and not the one he agreed to have in 6 months time.

Im not slating the lad, nor saying he wont be a success with us, but making it at the top requires the right personality. Ibe isn't sat at derby waiting for his chance at liverpool, he's taking his opportunity and helping derby push for promotion

All im saying is it raises questions about his mentality when the going gets tough, and he will be under a lot more pressure from liverpool fans than lille, especially walking in to our current situation.

If we do take him from lille, then far better to send him to a less pressured environment for the rest of the season, look at the pelters poor marko got, seems to me that origi doesnt like it.

Another comparison would be hendo, told to leave by brendan, now integral to the club.
