That side - barring Walker and Dembele for Chiriches and Bentaleb - thrashed Newcastle 4-0 in the quarters.

If it continues in the next few games then bring it up, but not after one

I know and pretty much the same side also beat chelsea 5-3 but if we want to win anything this season or finish in the top four we have to do something in January because what happens if eriksen and kane get injured?

However I'll also like to add that top four was always going to be very difficult this season and the season shouldn't be seen as a failure if we finish outside it.

I agree top four was going to be difficult at the start of the season, but Spurs have got themselves into a good position to go for it now, and frankly have as much chance as any of the other contenders of getting top four. Just need to focus on games for the full 90 minutes. Yesterday they threw away a valuable 3 points in my opinion

We threw away a draw really.. well the ref nicked it off us.

We've been on a great run of results and lost a game. We haven't gone six without a win and been thrashed.

Before we start panicking, let's see how the next few games pan out eh

No more squad-filler players. I'm sick of us just buying players to bulk up the squad, I want players who are better than what we've already got... Unless we've got top quality there already (Lloris)

Berahino? No thanks.

You don't think Berahino would be better than Soldado or Adebayor?

His game is the same as Soldado's yet everyone on here complains that Soldado doesn't fit our style

Add to the fact that Soldado has been dog tu rd in front of goal.

Other than poach, what does Berahino do? Nothing.

When do we offer up anything to poach from? Never.

Not true. He has good link up play and work rate as he showed yesterday for one example. It's link up play that he has already put to good use with Kane for the U-21s.

He would be good for us. The only caveat is his off field behaviour which IMO is only a minor concern.

But he can't score for toffee

Pretty much had it with Soldado now and that's not me being fickle because i was a staunch supporter of the guy prior to the burnley fa cup game where he lost my support after that. He produced another sh it hopeless performance where he should of been going all out to try and prove his doubters wrong. Harry Kane is proving what a stunning striker he is slowly evolving into with another excellent goal yesterday despite it not even being one of his better performances. Soldado on the other hand is a f ucking donkey along with that useless c unt Adebayor who i can't wait to see the back end of. Berahino is miles better than these 2 so yes he would be a big improvement

So based on Berahino scoring a few in a differing style of play and having the same traits to Soldado, that means he's the answer?

posted on 11/1/15

They clearly don't have the same traits. He is quick for a start.

Berahino actually scores Premier League goals. More this season than Soldado has managed in his 18 months or so.

I wouldn't like to say if he's suitable for us or not, but I'd back him to score more goals than Soldado in any side you put him in.

I don't buy the argument Soldado doesn't get the right service as he's an equal opportunity fluffer. He doesn't care how they come, he will fluff it. Volleys, one on ones, headers, close range, long range. Added penalties to his repertoire this season too

An answer for being an improvement on Soldado? Err yes, blatantly so.

Look at the sort of goals he's been scoring this season. Look at his finishes against Gateshead. I cannot see Soldado finishing like that at the moment.

Soldado is just another Darren Bent. Buioldca team around him at a place he is lived, and the pressure is off and he will score you goals.

Stick a big fee on him, a high profile move and the pressure of expectation that comes with it and his nada shrivel to nothing and he melts. Because that's the crux of it, his Gary has gone.
