Wellens blamed for giving ball away. Not sure that he has been all that effective recently

Oh Dear..... JET is the man tonight I guess

He was good in the first game don.

It was SOD who signed him for City, but like Preston they've got more cash than us.

I am going to hit the sack gents, 00;30 here
Thanks for the running commentary Hound

Without JET, Bristol don't/can't play. Said before game kicked off..... he needed to be taken out.

U R Welcome Louth.
Sleep tight.

It doesn't look as though PD will be getting the £250,000 from Brammall to strengthen the team then.

Apparently PNE are preparing to pay over a million quid for Sam.

History repeats itself.
!964 a young pup (me) watched Rovers draw at home in the third round of the FA Cup.
We lost the replay 2-0.
Fifty One years later and not much changes.

Better than last time at Bristol, but commentators seem to think we could have worked harder. Marosi was not a factor - well done to him.

Officials not mentioned, so well done to them too.

To me it is the same old same old same old problem.
We work the ball well but lack a player who can score the goals.

Time for McKay to be given a chance?

Just said on sky, this game has just put 300K into the city coffers.

Could be don.
He may be the answer but would it be right to play him.
You said you were surprised to see Middleton start didnt you.

It's the goalscoring quality that makes him worth it I think. Even if he did little else...

I actually agree with you don.
He is worth a go.
I wonder what Paul Heffs is doing............................

Well lads, I finally got home at 5 pm our time 11 pm yours. Had to have a two hour infusion of Potassium as well as the expected 30 minute Chemo.

However, I have to tell you there is a God. My Doctor came in beaming all over his face. He had the labtest results and, guess what, my creatanin level was back to normal and my kidney function had returned to normal. He said he had very rarely seen this and if in a fortnight's time the results then are the same, he will be able to give me a step up to stronger Chemo.

This he says I will be able to take and, although he cannot cure me he thinks he can give me a better life for longer. Let's hope so.

I want to thank all of you for your good wishes, you don't know how much it ,means to know people I don't know do care about a fellow Rovers supporter.

Now to the game, I was sorry to hear from Bally ten minutes from the end that it looked like we were going out. However Hound I want to let you know that he is very impressed with the way we played and have been lately. He also told me that Marosi didn't let anyone down.

I do think that as a Scot, Dickov should have his scouts looking in the SPL and Championship as there are many fine players who would see Rovers as a step up. Many of these clubs even at top level exist on gates of 23,000 and lower and as such cannot pay the wages we do. If you get chance to see games on BT sport please do you'll be surprised by the quality.

Should read 2 to 3,000 above not 23,000.

That's great positive news NY!

Just to add to your comments about players in the SPL, there's a player at Dundee United currently ripping up that league who goes by the name of Gary Mackay Stevens Who is out of contract at the end of the season, Sheffield United have put an £80,000 bid in for him but for someone of this quality i'm sure £100,000 would be enough to get him, Celtic are also interested.

Not going to comment on the game, as I have nothing positive to say about Mr Dickoff.

Just a comment on NY's post and his fantastic news. Well chuffed for you mate, will keep my fingers crossed that the good news keeps on coming

Even though we think we have never seen each other, I expect we actually have at matches. We might even have spoken as I often do to people I don't know and all probably when you and I were a lot younger. Now we still all share experiences as though we were standing together on the terraces.

The latest news means you will make the "second half", so make sure you play well and make the most of your opportunities.

Thanks again everyone.

According to rumour, Abdul Razak is signing and the keeper will be Stephen Bywater just released by Millwall.

Just watched the BBC Highlights. 78 seconds long, 25 seconds showing Bristol's goals, 53 seconds showing their celebrations, 0 seconds devoted to the rest of the game. No wonder some footballers (not JET to be fair) develop elaborate rituals to mark these events. No wonder the BBC's reputation is declining. They no longer seem to even try to be balanced in their coverage. We think we did have nearly half the possession and the same number of shots on target.
