Sanogo and Chamackh. Dream strike force
Will only be a good move if he gets enough game time and prove that he's more than a postman.
Jenko's been doing pretty well at West Ham, wonder if Wenger will keep him or sell him this summer
Good move? I can't see him getting much game at all at Palace.
Pardew likes his strikers to be fast and run with the ball. Sanogo is all but that.
Certainly it'll give him a chance to show what he can do but from what I've seen so far I doubt he'll be the next superstar.
Surprised palace have taken him considering his injury record
One would assume Palace are taking the sensible approach to relegation in not signing any of the usual high earners that are available in January.
He should have gone to a Championship club. I don't see him getting much game time at Palace.
What would've been the point of going to a Championship side? What would it have shown anyone? He could've started every game for a club in the second tier, yet have still been in the same situation when he returned to Arsenal.
Wenger clearly wants to give him the chance to prove he has the ability to hold down a place at a team in the Premiership, otherwise he could've just let him join Bordeaux last week.
As it is, this is the perfect move for both the player and the club.
Hopefully he plays quite a few games for them.
Sanogo is 22 this month I think. Too old for the Championship if Wenger believes he can be a top player for us.
I think he will surprise people, he is a handful.

I am going to assume pardew knows the player or he would not have asked to loan him? maybe?
Should have gone to Hull, imo. Can't be that much worse than Sagbo and Aluko, plus I think he'd suit their style of play more. As others have stated above, can't see him getting much game time at Palace.
Delighted he has gone there, now all his clueless fanboys will see him for the pile of shít that he is.
Does he actually have fans boys?
Only postman to put 4 past Benfica. He strikes me as an easygoing lad. He should be able to take this career move in his stride.
He might even succeed in wiping that permanent scowl off Alain dePardew's face.

In the future, people will claim they were on the match thread when he netted 4 past Eusebio's Benfica.
I'm surprised he didn't go to Hull. With Jelavic and Hernandez injured he would have got more games.

I guess he's only just got a handle on all the post codes in London, so didn't want to move up North.

I think I speak on behalf of everyone when I say this will not happen.
I would like it to, because I want every Arsenal player to be successful.
But he is nearly 22 and I just struggle to see what positive traits of a footballer he has. Is he strong? Against some defenders yes, but I've seen him get bullied off the ball easily at times too.
Is he quick? Meh.
First touch and control? Very poor.
Finishing and shooting? Again, very poor.
Movement and off the ball intelligence? Not good enough.
Passing and hold-up play? Again, not good enough.
So apart from physicality and providing some use of height when defending set-pieces, he has not been good at all so far. And I just can't see where, at the age of 22, he will improve to the extent where he will be in serious contention for a starting spot up front.
I would be more than happy to be proven wrong, but I can't see it.
I can't beleive some people are underrating Sanogo. I think he might even help C.Palace more than what people are anticipating. Sanogo and Ox were immense against Bayern Munich last season. He just needs games. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-d4vVXZXx4
I agree with Samir, he is well below the standard required at Arsenal - I think his first touch might be worse than Bendtner's
Let's see what regular football does for him at Palace, it would be great if he came on strong but personally I'm not holding my breath...
Despite his failings in terms of mentality, there is no doubt that Adebayor is a very talented player. Yet when I first saw him in an arsenal shirt I remember thinking almost exactly the same thing about him being so awful he could not be a footballer.
Before he joined us, Pardew already knew all about him, Palace knew all about him and he was bought by a top four club with a manager who has previous in unearthing gems. Champions league goal? 4 goals against a top side even if it was a friendly?
You are almost certainly setting yourself up for a fall. Bookmarked
Good move for him, expecting big things from Sanogo. He should start regularly looking at the strikers they have.
