We have no chance this season. The arsenal and Tottenham fans on this site have told us we will struggle.
They did the same last season.
Absolute muppets.
This season is going to be very competitive but for them to make that assumption after both their teams collapsed last season is comical.
I will be happy with a top 4 finish as we are building for the future. all our new players bar Lambert are really young. This team will mature in the next 5 years and we will only need to add 1 world class player each window. That is the plan of the lucky Brendan Rodgers who had a fluke season

I think we will mount a title challenge. We are a better team than all but City, which was proved last season. We've strengthened but so have the others. It will come down to if our new players can come straight in and perform.

Shaw, Blind and Rojo are all 24 or under.
Herrera is 25, and di Maria is 26.

I don't get all this 'we won't do as well now we've lost suarez' crap.
yes, we lost suarez, and yes, he's a great player.
he got us a lot of goals, but in games we would have won anyway.
It will come down to if our new players can come straight in and perform.
<awkward>
Brendan should maybe think about using the hoof tactics.
I'm sure there are plenty of hilarious comments from your board as well over the summer, we just aren't as obsessed to go back and find them. OP really has riled them here.
The maximum points from our first 8 games article comes to mind.
Moyes would have a done a better job woth these new players

realistically most of us feel a serious top 4 challenge was where we'd be at and maybe a title challenge if we're still around the top by March or so.

Moyes would have spent the money better than Brendan.
So, both our teams would be better with Moyes.

Sod what the other fans think the majority have blinkers on.
Look at their boards they are all moaning that we are making progress in the market when they are failing.
I would rather have Balo & Studge than Giroud & Sanago or RVP & Fatty bum bum
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Robben the stalker -
I would rather have Sturridge than RVP & Rooney combined they are both past it now and you pay Rooney £250k a week to be useless and RVP over £100k per week.
Who was the top scorer in the league after Suarez last season??? Sturridge.
he is twice the player of fatty bum bum baldy Rooney

Biggest bitter manc award goes to Robben.
He bookmarks our articles and recycles them all the time.
Don't type so hard it is only a keyboard
It's going to be so tight between 3rd and 6th/7th it's probably best everynoe winds their neck in!
Most of the better teams will have a stronger second half to the season I would have thought.
Once Utd get all their players back they'll be in business. Oh wait...
