With Mike Brown it would have been England by 6, with Alex Goode, Ireland by 20

Huzzah!
That one should totally replace swing low!
I think it is going to be a very difficult game for both sides too Ding. I think (since we added pure steak to the second row) that our scrum has been extremely good the last two games and therefore should be a decent foothold for us. The lineout will favour Ireland I think even though we have a very good recent record, as I think Kruis & Attwood are not the dominant force Lawes & Launchbury have been. The back-row should indeed be a great battle, which I also think we have the edge in, anyone who saw the Sarries/Munster HC game will know Binny will be a targeted man from the off. Robshaw and Haskell have been great, so happy to see "the brand" getting his run in the side as he deserves it. Half back is definitely Ireland's and it is a big game for Ford, but a tactical kicking game can suit him if it goes that way. We should have the edge in the centre's with ma boy tearing it up <3 It will be interesting to see how Ireland cope with him if he can get good ball. Very happy to see Watson and Nowell on the wings as both (being primarily FB's) can deal with an aerial bombardment quite well. Goode, however, is a major concern of mine. He reminds me of Montgomery for SA, give him an armchair ride (which is what AG gets at Sarries) and he will look good, get in his face and he will crumble faster than an Irish rebellion (I had to get one in didn't I).
Looking forward to it, may the best team be champions!
Oh ye, you would think that this is a winner takes all encounter. But with you still to play the french and us still to play the west england team ( ) i won't be counting any chickens yet.
As for the rebellion... erm we won mate.
Yeah I'm not worried by the Frenchies at home, and I think Ireland will have too much for Wales tbh.
Without getting into a history lesson, there were quite a few mate. Anyway, was just a playful comment in jest <3

I think you are favourites Ding to be fair. Regardless of recent records I think Ireland always up their game at home to us (at least it seems that way to me) and they have confidence running right through the team atm. We seem to hand over a free 10 points at the start of matches too to give the opposition a sporting chance Goode must be worth another free 10 so I reckon you're golden mate!
Of course I went for England in the predictions though, can't bet against us^^
Exactly ariso. It would be a bit odd to go against our own. Hey, the France v Wales game should be interesting tho. Given we both have to play one of them in the coming weeks and have beaten one of them in the previous weeks. One of the main reasons i went for france in that one is because Parra is starting. How he didn't start the first 2 tests is a mystery. But Saint Andre is now official a bloody rubbish coach.
Dramatic. Great game. Italy deserved it. Scotland were far too cynical there in the last 20 mins. They didn't deserve it. ANd not because he's Irish but fair play to the ref for making the hard yet correct decisions. Too many refs go against Italy unfairly.
Did anyone predict that?! Well done Italy!

"Major upset 5% predicted this"
I'm starting to think i made a mistake with my choice on this one. It's quite possible that Wales will rub over France here. But good to see France going for a more skillful outfit and not the smash bang wallop types.

Dag Nab it!
I said it before the game that wales looked like they were gonna win. Should have changed my prediction.
And the broadcast problems were not exclusive to BBC. same on irish TV. So it was the french broadcasters at fault.
