If anyone in world football missed Borini's chance I wouldn't have got on their back, it wasn't easy.

I understand why people get on Borini's back for missing, I do as well. But that's when he misses easy chances, not when he takes on shots that even Ronaldo wouldn't score 40% of the time.

Sterling's only real performace recently has come against Bournmouth - a championship team. Other than that he's been as bad as Borini has his whole Liverpool career. Yet it's alright for him to miss because he has the ability to score. Cool, if Sterling never scores another goal in his career it'll all be fine because 'he has the ability.'

Why are you getting weird about this?

It's hardly a surprise that if you have ability and actually contribute to the team in a meaningful way, for a large part of the season looking like the only player who would score, I thnk it's reasonable that you get a bit more leeway to try and be "clever" with your shots.

If you're not having a good time like Borini and Balo and spiff one, people are going to get at you.

Movement is his only good trait, and he got a goal from it, his general game has been poor today but he got the goal so cant complain to much

That is fair though. I got annoyed with him there. He's just not good enough in those situations, and I would replace him in a heartbeat if the right player came along. But to just castigate him when he's done nothing wrong makes you as bad as arouna imo.

People used to do the same with Kuyt. Only focus on what he done wrong, and in most cases, he done as well as most other players would have in similar situations.
