Becaise he got a hattrick..okay
Worrying about it wont make a difference, so i doubt it
Messi won't let Ronaldo equal his 4th. Messi will look to replicate his 2012 year
We heard this at the beginning of the season when Messi started brilliantly, but his form dropped badly. I sometimes fear his best form is behind him. He still has those days when he strolls round the pitch, playing one-twos.
Messi is a deity . Period!
Giroud scored again as well.
been back to his best for a while now. scored more than Ronaldo in all comps after today. Neymar also looks like he could get 40+

Messi didn't start this season brilliantly...
Ronaldo has 36 goals in 33 appearances this season.
Messi has 37 goals in 33 appearances this season.

Now I know stats aren't everything and all that, but can you remember when Ronaldo was roughly 10-15 goals ahead? He was smashing it earlier in the season.
Ronaldo cant handle the break up from Irina
Scoring loads and assisting plenty. Can't even say he's back to his 'best' because his best was untouchable IMO.
some say he has been great since the winter break but I saw something different in the home league game against Villareal 2 weeks ago. He was unplayable.
The worrying thing for City in a champions league perspective is the pace is back in his dribbles and runs! His finishing has always been ace.
I hope Atletico win the league though.
Ronaldo's been very poor in 2015, by his standards at least.
8 Games,4 Goals, 2 Assists and a Red Card

City should.

Real have been poor since 2015. Massively gone off the boil probably due to injuries and tiredness.
agree with you Ledley, Ronaldo has never come close to touching Messi's peak and it's sad that in a World Cup year were he was bundled out of the first round he was made world footballer of the year.
It would have been nice if a suarez had maybe led Uruguay to a semi and behaved! He would have been a better choice than Ronaldo
Ronaldo fanboys in shock...

But Real are effectively a counter attacking team. That's what they excell at mostly. I would still rather play Real over 2 legs than this not so good Barca because with a good game plan you can actually beat them over 2 legs! Problem is when other players like Ramos are fired up and score at set pieces and game the games of their lives like he did against Bayern.
It's easier to keep ronaldo quiet as compared to Messi esp when you starve him of posession.
Real Madrid vs City would have been an epic tie!
In 2015 Messi has been miles better.
I hope Ronaldo isn't declining now he's 30, but if there's one player who can carry on for long it's him.
Messi has done amazing to catch up with his goals though. Since Suarez has come into the team I think messi has gone up a level this season. His partnership with Neymar is deadly and once Suarez gets into the grove, Messi will get even better. It's true the better the players that are around you, your game goes up, applies to Messi too.

I hope he is. He has got a reoccurring/ongoing problem with his knee or something that has hampered him for ages.
Why do you hope he's declining?
Him and Messi are the shining lights during this relatively meek period of football.
