I am loathe to change managers, generally, unless backed by an owner with a massively capacious wallet and not afraid to spend it, there have been no teams who consistently perform well whilst chopping and changing managers. Consistency of leadership is important, I am minded that the season after Moyes had us 4th he had us in 17th, maybe it takes some bedding in.
That said, Roberto, the team, the club, need to pull out their finger because things aren't heading in a good direction currently. As things stand I look at the upcoming games and see very few points on the horizon sadly, and unlike Roberto I struggle to take any positives out of performances like last night. And substituting Besic for Kone does not help him.....
I still have the view that having Ossie and or Peanuts in the team gives us more stability,cohesion and inventiveness than having Barkley and or Mcgeady/Mirallas.
Barkley has regressed massively this season.last night I shouted myself hoarse when it came to Barkley's positioning,standing still doing fook all,lollopping around and when getting the ball often running into blind alleys or being dispossessed as he has picked up this habit of standing there staring at the ball and getting picked off by opposition players.
The whole side apart from Besic and Stones are devoid of confidence.Too many times last night that Barry played balls that made Baines/Coleman and Mirallas have to stop running to pick them up because they were behind them.Lukaku's first touch is Savillesque,Naismith couldn't find a man 5 yards away.Baines and Coleman couldn't beat the first man with a cross and Konehead couldn't trap a bag of wet cement to save his life.
Our confidence is on the floor and Mirallas with the penalty miss could mean that the remains of the season are going to be nervous ones
