He has been playing very well lately but let's not forget he was very poor for a few months and at times his attitude wasn't great in that spell either.
We won't get the big bids for him until he starts to really show consistency, and that means a whole season, not fits and starts, and with more goals and assists.
Hazard who was excellent last night is only 18 months older than him has 12 goals and 11 assists this this season in all comps.
Coutinho has 2 goals and 3 assists.
Yes Hazard plays with better players in a better team, but until Coutinho is getting much nearer that sort of level of consistency then he will continue to be ignored by the big guns (and the Brazil first team).
Hopefully in the next 18 months he can make that sort of improvement.

What an amazing steal he was for £8m. In my eyes he is as good if not better than Oscar who cost 3 times as much and did nothing at the world cup and has been in patchy form this season.

A lot of our fans used to moan about Anderson losing the ball a lot, but he was exactly the same. He always looked forwards first instead of the safe option.
What do you mean by coutinho losing the ball? From through balls or just getting tackled?
Sterling gets dispossessed 0.3 more frequently each game.
Coutinho throughball rate is okay aswell, joint 16th
He played well last night
More consistency from him and we have a really good player on out hands

Every time Chelsea did anything good he was at the heart of it.
Carra, who is a better judge than me (and you) thought Can struggled to contain him.
Can did'nt strugle at all against Hazard. The only time he strugled was the first half with the pen and that was it.
I think you need to go to specsavers.
Apart from giving away the penalty I thought Can looked assured and played well throughout, don't think he struggled against Hazard. Also loved him bringing the ball out of defence and driving forward, that's what the lad brings to the team
Imo. Skrtel carried out defence. Can and sakho were good on the ball but off of it they were rescued by skrtel a few times.

Carra half time summary of Can was poor. Totally nailed him over a bad 5 mins and then at full time when Can bossed the 2nd half couldn't find any praise.
Chelsea clearly targeted Can hence why Hazard, Costa and Fabregas used that channel and like I said other than a dodgy 5 mins Can was excellent.

Carra is so biased its unbelievable.
Also they didnt target Can specifically, thats just the way they play.
Most of their build up play is through the left because of Hazard and Costa prefers drifting in from the left.
