I made that 'joke' ages ago and was roundly (and probably reasonably) ignored - I must be more offensive to get a reaction it would seem.
Yours was a joke. Jons wasn't.

[Attenborough voice] And as HenrysCat makes his first forays into the large and positively frightening world of the internet, the way it interacts with him is an unending source of wonder and bemusement for the fledgling ja606er.
Kallstrom & Benayoun were weird signings
Yes but Benayoun was a good one. He served his purpose well at Arsenal.
oh my, i have to apologies, ignored the team sheet positions LOL. you meant Richard Wright the keeper.
DOH.
So did Kallstrom who looked decent whenever he played.
Plus he scored a pen in the shootout vs wigan.

It's not frightening particaularly, but it is large and it is a source of some bemusement why the whole thing has turned into a place where teenagers, and other people with nothing to say, just shout abuse at everyone and try to 'own' each other.
Sadly, there's very little wonder.

I tell you what, if you're not frightened of the internet these days you're not paying attention. Even if you avoid being phished or out-and-out hacked, you are incredibly vulnerable. Say something that may be taken out of context and you'll be destroyed by hordes of tumblr's teenage girls who think they have a clue about social justice (they generally don't). What they do is "doxx" you. They, by hacking or simply searching, find out personal details about you and publish them. Address, phone numbers, credit card numbers, work details, family details. Personal communications are seen as the jackpot. Next thing you know your boss is asking you why s/he keeps getting calls asking you to be fired for being to sexism what h1tler is to racism.
No really.
The worst thing to ever happen to the internet was the move to remove anonymity and create personal responsibility for what people say online.

That doesn't work anymore. It's a lottery, these days.
As for teens shouting abuse at each other over the internet, I suppose it's better than them getting drunk and fighting?
At least drinking and fighting gets them out of the house and meeting people. Helps them develop better social skills.
Yeah benayoon was decent for us, and did a good job. Kallstrom was ok as well, shame he was injured and couldn't have featured more. I think he could have made a decent contribution.
That's true. We've been sucked into a world of decreasing social interaction in local areas. I have friends all over the world, thanks to the internet, but at least I maintain a real social life outside of it. But I neither know my neighbours nor even their faces. It's the local community that is completely dead these days.

Stupid article - Wrighty was brilliant up front. No idea who this Jeffers Park fella in goal is either.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Henryscat......He is talking about Wright in Goal.........
which I admit is strange as he was far better scoring goals..............
Also Jeffers Park?? is that a park in South Carolina named after the Southern President during the American civil war??
Eboue has to be in there somewhere.

Eboue in the worst XI
You've had several keepers who were worse than Wright. Mannone, Flappy etc
Gus Caesar?

Absolutely no chance in hell Mannone or Fabianski were worse than Wright.
Plus neither cost anything like what Wright cost, which should be considered.
What actually happened with Wright? I remember one calamitous game. Was that it for him or was there more. He was bought as Seamo's replacement?
He had more than one bad game. He was shocking. Stuart Taylor was a better keeper than him.
