Relax man you're always so reactionary
You're probably right sometimes but I've said for months that we're desperately lacking up front.
Sturridge will be like a signing
Sturridge will be a ticking time bomb. He's had no surgery, just rest.

Fickle Freddie strikes again.
In seriousness, I don't think we will be buying a striker. We have Balotelli, Borini and Lambert, costing £31m between them and a lot in wages also. If we don't sell at least one of them, I doubt we will be buying anybody. It's poor that we have Sterling playing out of position up front as those three can't score goals and provide for the team. Luckily Sturridge is back soon.
I also think Sturridge gets called injury prone too much for my liking, he isn't injured that often. This season fair enough but before then, it has been a few weeks here and there.
It's maybe been three times in his career he has missed more than a few weeks with injury, certainly at Liverpool. I remember he missed two months with an ankle injury, about a month with a thigh injury he picked up with England and then this season.

Didn't you say Sturridge just decided not to play, he's not injured at all?
How am I fickle? I've said we need a striker for months!!
I know it's frustrating in some games but we played well today, the keeper made a number of top saves and they played so deep with so many men behind the ball making blocks that Sturridge or another striker prone ably wouldn't have made that much of a difference
Been saying this from the start of the season. We need goals. We are making the chances.
Get shot of the Italians and get someone in anyone. Heskey?
We'll only get one if we get rid of Balotelli and Borini. £20m for the pair I'd bite your hand off

I don't think there's gonna be many takers at the moment. We definitely need a striker we can rely on, when we don't have Sturridge.
Sterling shouldn't be expected to be the main man up front, holding the ball etc, he's bloody about 4ft ffs.
Sturridge will be ready for West Ham at least.

Not quite. I said he could play if managed game by game using injections but he wasn't interested in that option.

Ok. I remembered what you said, just wanted to hear it again.
We haven't got the money to buy a new striker this window.
We have too many players as it is.
This has been pretty obvious, it shouldn't come as a surprise.
Moaning about it every time we don't score won't change anything.

We have four. We won't get another without selling one, that's for sure. We have far too many players, I couldn't believe we went into this season with so many players. There's gonna be a lot of sales in the summer and I feel that's when we will do business. Don't expect too much this month, if you do, you'll be disappointed.
had Borini agreed to move we'd have another
he decided to stay and fight for his place
I don't think we have too many players at all, we could end up playing 63 games this season we need a large squad and with any luck we'll be in some form of Europe next season and it'll be the same.
The problem has never been with the number of strikers, but one is close to drawing his pension, one is a sick note, one is a totally useless Italian and the other is Borini.

I did an article at the start of the season listing how many players we had and it was crazy, then we bought some.
