but would the results have really been the same???
^ apart from the Spurs one on obviously.....
I have not seen our game, as a consequence!
Did Paulinho play well, or was he a weak link??
It was hard enough listening to the Spurs game on the radio. Watching it on the telly would have been torture.
Thanks to BBC for sparing me from that torment.

Pauline was OK, but the whole team played like it was a pre season friendly. No urgency.
Thanks Sandy.
I suspect Pochettino of misusing some of his talented players.
The match reports indicate a total ballz-up at the end.
And scoring only one goal - and that a penalty - is just not good enough.
If they played like it was a walk in the park, then that is a management problem.
As today's results show, no one is safe playing lower division teams.
Actually, I suspect that Pochettino didn't really want this game. He's got too much on his plate.
Spurs was not one of the shocks, they are always likely to get beat and don't usually come near to winning silverware

We are 1-0 up in a semi final... which is close to silverware.

What`s Liverpools excuse for not winning either of two home games played in the past few days? I see Rodgers was giving his usual bollox about how Liverpool are on the up. Two home games and won none, and one of them against championship opposition.
Spurs are not on the same page as us on any level, trophies, fans, etc. there is nothing to discuss really

Struggling to see the relevance to the article here.
My point was clear Spurs game was not a shock nor was it exciting
We were certainly the favourites to win so it was a very slight shock, but it wasn't the most exciting game ever.
I fail to see how this statement impacts the OP and any comments in the article though. The point was that the two televised games were dire.
BTW Sandy, BBC Wales streamed Swansea game live which was excellent.
