Both Soldado & Lamela had reasonably good games & were certainly amobgst our better players.
Ade brought little to the party when he came on, and what we learnt on Saturday is that no matter who we play we nearly always concede goals.
However fair play to Leicester, they were unlucky when we played them in the PL & this in some ways was pay back! Vorm made some great saves & one big mistake......................................
For those Spurs supporters who expected us to continue challenging on 4 fronts, this was a reality check. We do not have the resources or the personnel to do this, even City & Chelsea can't do it with all their money & very strong squads.
Wednesday night is the most important game & Poch MUST field our strongest available team.............COYS
I hope your timing with that bucket of water is better
So who will you be cheering on in the FACup now that Spurs are out, the team thatbeat them, a second favourite, or whom ever is playing Arsenal?
yep strongest 11 and nothing else against the blade's.
Its a shame because this was a great opportunity missed to win the FA cup which I would rather that over the league cup any day.
That said it was bound to happen at some point, there's no way we can challenge on all four fronts.

The question is what is our strongest 11. Our best recent form has been with Kane up top but since Chelsea we have had either Soldado or Ade up top and our goals from open play have dried up. I have a horrible feeling Ade will be starting and the usual lack luster performance will follow. I really hope I am wrong but I fear the worst.

No change from being a Spurs fan then
I prefer it when spurs are underdogs/written off.
when we are clear favourites we usually faaack it all up.

has to be the 11 thats brought us those good results/run.

I went to WHL on Saturday, and the team played like they have for a lot of games, loads of possession, but very few clear cut chances. And Leicester seemed to want it more. As many games as Spurs have come from behind to win, they also seem to be making a habit now of leading late on, and throwing the game. This was another Palace if the truth be told. Allowing a team to get a grip of a game there were never really in first half.
Spurs strongest XI will not include players like Kaboul, Chiriches, Ade, Lamela, etc.

Agreed - I like Poch but he does make some questionable decisions sometimes. I appreciate we've had to use the squad a bit more in the last few games, but surely our first choice has to be the team that played in the good run that culminated in the Chelsea game.
I don't hate Ade for no reason, but he was nowhere near that team so he shouldn't come back in now. Kane should be the focal point of our attack. Really hoping Poch realises this!
I think Poch has had a lot of fixtures to negotiate with FA Cup, League Cup and Xmas and New Year fixtures all coming in quick succession, so he had to rotate. But now that the FA Cup is no more and the League Cup is coming to a conclusion, I think Poch will revert back to his best XI from hereonin.
Kane must play up top, I dont have a problem with Soldado playing but has to be behind Kane, not sure if Chadli is back yet either, so suppose either Townsend or Lamela will get the nod, please not Adebeyor

I heard Murphy (who I quite like as a pundit) say on Talksport this morning that he would not have left Kane on the bench, the kid is in a run of scoring and just needs games....he was surprised we did not go for it more as we are unlikely to get 4th and our season is in danger of petering out
We have played so many games and we have to rotate but to make 9 changes in an important fa cup game is just ridiculous.
We have such a youthful squad im sure most of our players like Kane, Dier and Mason can manage 2 games in a week..
Moronic has such low expectations he thinks we are underdogs against leicester city.

To be honest I dont agree with the "cant compete on 3 fronts" idea anyway but whats done is done now and I know what I learned.
