No they weren't.

They went out at the same stage. Both their games lasted the same length as ours.
If it had gone into extra time, I could see you point.

But your 'fact' is incorrect.

I have just checked the UEFA website.

Hearts were knocked out in the Europa League play-off in normal time. Same as Celtic and Rangers.

If your arguement is that the game kicked off later, well your point is kind of p!sh then, like your patter.

(This might be my sign off to every english muppet on here) Jog on ya trumpet.

Never mind Hearts!!! Tiny Shamrock Rovers from Tallaght just outside Dublin have won away from home against Partizan Belgrade tonight to become the first Irish club to ever qualify for the Europa League Group stages!!!!!

===================
All of them apart from top 2 haven't done anything of notable success outside SPL.

Don't put Kean in that list - the rest of them (well maybe not McLeish) I'd have like a heartbeat.

So is it a Scottish style that means when you come to European games its too different for the players to adapt, a lack of fitness, what? There are players that look good (Goodwillie, Templeton etc). Confusing because the games against English opposition aren't too shabby.

Lambert successive promotions, Moyes not got a dime to spare but always finish in the top10

Big Eck won the Carling cup

Owen Coyle plays excellent football(bar last week when his players tried to make it a rugby game) not in danger of going down

Steve Kean... first boss sacked.

Top 10 is hardly success considering they came 4th once.
