No, but when I got home from the game I put on SSN and there was clip with Henry and he called him 'Stevie G' for me that was cringe.

Just 10 minutes after the match had ended, Sky were already describing Costa's alleged stamps as "Diego's crimes". Pathetic.

I think any reasonably intelligent observer could see that there was obvious intent to 'stamp' by Costa.

Mourinho comments were simply attempting to prevent his player from a misconduct charge.

Jose has done this before. He seems to defend his players from thugish behaviour all the time. I still remember last season when ramirez could have broken el ahmedis leg at villa park then Jose blamedw the ref for sending him off.

There was nothing "obvious" about either of them. Just speculation coloured by Costa's reputation.

They were both obvious, theres a reason they are rarely seen in the game, 2 in the same match by the same player, come off it.

Listening to that was hilarious where Jose called Brendan out for commenting on our players whilst forgetting to praise his own goal keepers performance. So true. Brendan does like to talk about other teams a lot. He's still young, inexperienced and naive but he'll learn.

The evidence is circumstantial at best. But people are extrapolating culpability from Costa's reputation.

Correct

Was a pointless attack on BR it lacked class, what did BR say about Courtois that he won Chelsea the game and is world class? So what if he didn't mention his own GK I can prob go find a 20 interviews where Maureen did exactly the same. Is it now compulsory to praise you own player in that position when praising an opposition player for their match winning performance or something?

It's like the ghost of Suarez past.

I bet you defended that bucktoothed vermin when he was doing worse in previous seasons.

Good to see some Liverpool players on the end of some dubious tackles as it's normally them that's dishing them out.

Who know's Jose may get some T shirts printed next

All should have been straight reds, but it doesn't take away from the fact that the first Costa 'incident' is definately a red too.

There is no "damning" footage. There is footage of him jumping and coming down on to players' legs... could have been accidental, could have been deliberate. The only person who truly knows is Costa. The speculation by ex pros is meaningless.

Have you read where Rodgers defends Suarez in that article.Perhaps he should remember the past before he opens his herpes riddled mouth to say opposing players should be sent off

Stop the press! Manager protects his own players and berates the opposition shocker! EVERY manager does that.

posted on 28/1/15

Yes, EVERY manager and fans, when it comes to one of their players, are total hypocrites.

posted on 28/1/15

Obviously he meant it, Costa is a clever

No proof though

It would be relevant if Martinez was asking for an opposing teams player to be sent off for diving AFTER wrongly defending Barkley.
