I said on the match thread why the hell did Poch bring Paulinho on???? Honestly his decisions totally baffle me at times

Frankly I never quite understand why managers have to bring on subs when the team is winning with 15 minutes left. If a team is losing, fine, but to disrupt a winning unit with so little time left never fails to amaze me.

Believe it or not a lot do it to reward a player. Most clubs pay a win bonus but the catch is the player has to have actually got on the pitch to get it not just be part of the squad.

That why you often see managers who are 2 or 3 nil up put a player on for the last 3 or 4 minutes

I trust Poch to know what he's doing. We've gone this far with him so why not?

With better players in the squad to turn to I doubt he'd feel the need to use players like Paulinho and Ade.

I don't know why he made Ade captain, not really bothered about that anymore either.

For now I'd rather celebrate getting to the final tonight, and hope that the manager is supported in getting his own players, not some of the duds he's been left with.
