Cuadrado, Salah and Schurrle

Chelsea have agreed a deal for Cuadrado for a transfer fee in the region of €31m, subject to a medical. This is slightly below his termination fee of €35m and therefore Chelsea will allow Mohamed Salah to sign for Fiorentina on an eighteen month loan. There will be no loan fee for the player to head to Serie A and Chelsea will cover his wages over the loan period.

that's steep but fair enough.

Can we have Shirley now?

Cuadrado is apparently on his way to London for a medical on Saturday.

Schurrle is also said to have agreed terms and once a fee agreed (Chelsea holding for £27m) will have a medical at Wolfsburg.

Gah I liked Schurrle just a shame he tried a little too hard which sometimes made him focus on personal glory than a simple assist.

Selling in pounds & buying in Euros , good time to do business.

European players will be loosing there value, the euro could in fact drop to 1.50 to the pound.

Very typical CFC to pick up on this.

expect transactions imo.

Why do people think Salah is rubbish? He has barely been given a chance and when he has it was against poor sides. If he gets his opportunities in league games, he might make for a good player.

Also it only looks like a £23m deal for Cuardrado, which is probably better than Douglas Costa. So not a bad deal at all to say its like under 20m euro's.

Even for Basel he only started around half of their league games, he was used as an impact sub a lot.

Agreed, at Basel he was considered a raw talent. I’ve no idea what quality of player we’ll be talking about in five years time for Salah but I can’t help think to come straight in to the Chelsea first team squad was a step too big for him. He may even improve enough on loan to get a second shot but I’d be surprised in all honesty.
