Yes, Hound, things have certainly improved since October and I agree that it is largely due to personnel. On-field organisation is as important as systems and the pre-October system was full of holes.
It should be a good match. Chesterfield seem an attractive side playing well. Sam Hird must have become more reliable as he has grown older. It was a good move for him and unlike Husband (5 appearances, 2 in the League) he has kept playing.
As you say there must be so many players just moving for the money now; it's a scandal really that so much talent is just lying fallow. It must be the only major sport with such a profile.
In a Free press online article, our new keeper says he is very impressed with Abdul Razak, saying how fit and powerful he is.
I am looking forward to seeing him play.

I thought you must have seen something else.
By the way don, as well as personel i did say that with the right players a defence could be organised and effective.
Prior to the new signings the players that were in the starting line up were not good enough to do what they were being asked to do.
Having read PD's comments on the DROS about the upcoming game today i have to say that the Board do now appear to be backing him and the fans aspirations for promotion.
They apparently sanctioned the signing of a player for a six figure sum which is a lot of money for a small club like ourselves trying to get by on gates of 6000 or so.
Well done TB and Co.
It would be nice if the floating fans could give the club the same backing by going to games and getting behind the team.
We are playing good attractive football and getting points on the board and with what is now a very good squad should be pushing up the table.
Very obviously we are not going to go the rest of the season without some defeats but also very obviously we are going to win some too.
I still fancy us to get into the top six at the end of the season and have a trip to Wembley on 24th May.

We are going to be so good today. I can feel it in my water... either that or the tablets the doctor gave me are working.
I was feeling better Louth, but then I was told the BIG C had spread. What I have is terminal. How long I have depends on the Doctors and treatment. Having Chemo at the moment. I was in hospital for five days last weekend. Thanks for asking Louth.
