Ruthless Mourinho

Nothing suspicious, imo. Just clueless buying clubs.

PSG - clowns, simple as. Most of their signings are laughable.

United - Mata was a panic buy, Moyes wasn't backed in the Summer so they let him splurge on a player not needed.

Everton - For the first time in years had money to be spent and didn't want to be seen as a development club

Wolfsburg - wealthy club, Schurrle and De Bruyne are young players proven in Germany. They'll probably splash out on Thorgan Hazard or Marin in the Summer.

Cuadrado is not going to have that much of an effect I bet.

another poor deal like Schurrle.

--------------

How is it a poor deal when they will be selling for a decent profit.

I was going on the thinking you signed players for around £20m in order for them to improve your team, not to make what, depending on which rumour you read, is either a very small profit or a non-substantial profit.

Maybe if Mourinho had the ability to nurture talent he wouldn't have to keep making drastic changes to his squad every transfer window.

Like Wenger has done with Campbell and Sanogo?

Wenger has nurtured and brought through many players over the years. You really facking trying to argue this? Fack me and the chaavs wonder why they have the reputation of having the thickest fanbase in the country.

Wouldnt suprise me if there was something dodgy happening behind the scenes and no way am I accepting small clubs like Man City and Chelsea having more revenue then us. Mourinho's just got lucky that clubs are spending stupid amount for bang average players and Cuadrado isnt that good. Chelsea will finish potless again and even if they win the micky mouse cup they are still trophyless to me as I dont count that cup.

Chelsea only buy players with money from sales, their squad is really small.

The question is, though, that the club on hand to get top dollar for its unwanted players was Chelsea. Full credit to them for that; the truth is I'm slightly jealous.

What sales have Arsenal managed in the last couple of years? Same as usual - practically nothing of note apart from the customary Barcelona braintfart. They must be far and away your biggest source of transfer revenue this century. Arsene must be praying that they have their ban lifted.

IOAG I see two or three explanations for Arsenal having sold little of note larely.
A. There is little to sell, those who we do not need are on a decline and on wages others would be unwilling to match.
B. (sort of a flip side of A) Chelsea for their part, have better fringe players to sell
C. It's no secret Wenger's belief in his players is strong, so we keep some playera who probably would have been moved on if they played for other clubs.

Mourinho doesn't do developing players. He uses Abramovich's millions to ride off the back of the hard work of other coaches.

How's life march?

I was only half-serious. The bottom line is that Chelsea have managed to fetch some amazing fees for their cast-offs in the recent past.
