I was worried when they got him. Thought he was going to be great. Turns out he's just a pace merchant with little end product.
Aaron Lennon with a fancier name
He ripped azpilicueta a new one today but his end product was awful. Thankfully for chelsea
He's like a midget valencia
He is the Spanish Valencia. Just runs in a straight line on the wing and bangs a ball in hoping for the best, very limited player. Not sure how he got into the Spain squad when they were dominant.
Would quite like to say Fernando is a shít player aswell. Would be pointless if he didn't have his physique.
Thought he was one of the best men on the pitch today.
He had Azpilicueta on toast, and Azpi is good in one-on-one situations usually. Also created City's goal. His end product is poor but he has his uses.
To be fair, Navas did well in stopping Hazard break into space. Probably the only City (besides Clichy) with the pace to keep up with Hazard. Other than that, yes, same thoughts--I figured he would be a very good signing, but he looks a very over-priced, out of his depth player. Jovetic and Fernando appear that way, also.
Navas is quality. His ability to get in behind and create space for team mates you cant teach. Only people who dont understand football or just started watching soccer like dubbed wont understand the beautiful game.
