In no way will he be a key player, stop chatting shít all the time.
I watched him in preseason and he was great.
Probably failed the medical?
Good servant but time he moved on.
Probably not good news for United, or him
I have no problem with him staying as he is no doubt a good player to have around in the dressing room; especially as we lost Rio, vidic, Evra and Giggs (as a player) in one season. What I do have a problem with is him coming off the bench when we are 1-0 up with 10 minutes to go.
This has put a downer on today's win.
I'm confused, we were previously told that he was available on a free, so I can't understand the difference between taking him on a free transfer on a 12-24-36 month contract and getting him as a loan player. Unless West Ham wanted United to pay a part of his wages what is the difference?
Hope he is left out of matchday squad until the contract expires. Has been rewarded fantastically well by the club for his service but is now not good enough .
Ferguson looks more of a genius every time i see him or Cleverley in a game, just so average.

Herrera on Carrick being a role model. Anyway Fletcher was one of the first names on the team sheet not so long ago and is one of the captains and played great in preseason.
Probably down to finance in some way (unless he failed a medical).
There was talk about Fletcher wanting United to pay up the final few months of his contract before he would leave, but having stuck by him for so long while he was out injured, and he seems a decent guy, I don't think this is something he would do.
My bet is WHU have looked at the finances involved and tried to rework it. It did seem a big contract (3.5 years at £75k a week) for someone who has quite a poor recent fitness record. They got burned quite badly with Andy Carroll being out most of last season, so maybe they thought twice, or perhaps the insurance guys wouldn't play ball.
heard a West Ham caller on talksport whinging about Kevin Nolan, god knows what he'd make of Fletcher
342 appearances for United, 3-4-2?
10 more and he'll be LvG's dream come true.

Aye, five league titles, a CL and has made a fortune for basically 18 months of good form and a few good games against Arsenal, it's fair to say that he's done very well from his career.
This quote from LvG is quite interesting: "Manchester United just want to help him play more. For him now that is a big pity."
Does he mean that they wanted Fletch to get more games just not at United? like it would be better for his 1st team chances if he moved somewhere else.

Nicely spotted.
He's a waste of space. A jack of all trades and a MASTER of none.
A squad player if a institute as Fergie was still in charge.
But simply surplus to requirements now. Different ball game and different team now.
Wtf has playing good in pre season 6 months ago got to do with his use for us now, people walk around in pre season most of the time, this just means less game time for Herrera which is bad
Will be interesting to see the reaction of some of the people fawning over, this week, him once he gets a start for utd again

THAT is how you do sarcasm!
Regardless, I do think West ham and big sam havr let themselves down here. Maybe they're jus teed off that they've just been played off the park by the most predictable line up and tactics in Europe
He can easily walk into any team, currently at the bottom half of the table.
Agreed. But the manner in which Big Sam has treated him is shoddy. And i won't be surprised if West Ham do finish bottom half, regardless

Not sure this is good news for Fletcher or Utd.
Manchester Evening News reporter Alice McKeegan at 21:26 GMT: #MUFC have arrived at their hotel ahead of tomorrow's game. Darren Fletcher was with them. Gave thumbs up to fans.
