Wouldn't blame him if he did want to join Arsenal. They're a vibrant exciting team managed by a guy who will give him a chance to flourish. And Arsenal are good enough to win trophies and do so regularly. They just need to have the consistency and belief to do so imo
Sauce? Just about every major UK paper out there. Metro, Independent, Telegraph.....and at 20m buy-out clause it's going to come down to whether he wants to play for Wenger, Mourinho or Van Gaal. I think we can safely rule out Mourinho seeing that he's turned Hazard into a shadow defender. Maybe the thought of playing alongside Ozil & Sanchez will seal the deal.
Seriously??? IF WNEGER DOES NOT GO FOR HIM
He would be perfect for Arsenal..just the type of player we are lacking upfront...I know we are well stocked in those position but Reus is better then all the players we have in those position beside maybe Sanchez..whose workmate beats him.
Reus is very injury prone, Can defo see Wenger going for this one
Sort out his injury problems and he will be great. However where will he play of we did sign him?
We have Sanchez, Walcott, Welbeck and Ox who play the WF position.
Unlike Wallcot, Ox, Welbeck etc. He is not your typical WF he is Class above them..and can play across the front 3 or through Midfield.
We could sell Welbeck, Campbell and Pod to make space for him and a new class striker.
If Dortmund continue to perform p1$$ poor like they have been most of this season, can see most of their stars jumping ship in summer.
And to think that most people on this board wanted Klopp in, shame on you, bunch of s
Simply cant see this happening, we have far too many players in his position.
Doesn't matter if he wants to join us or not. So did Cesc but we rejected him for having too many players in his position. The same will happen with Reus.
I can't see this one happen tbh. I think Wenger next big purchase will be a WC DM.
Having said that, if it does happen, one of Sanchez, Walcott or Reus would be converted into a striker
It would be criminal to let such a talent join our rival club..even more so for just 20 million! which is about £10 pounds in current footballing climate.
The thing with Fabregas was the history between the player and the club. Why should we rescue a player who forced his way out of the club disrespecting the club and very man who made him?
I think people are forgetting how good he is, due to his time out in sidelines. He is terrific player and among the best in his position. There is always a space of a player of that calibre at any club. Wenger has been a huge admirer for a long time, this is perfect opportunity for him to take Arsenal attack to next level, doesn't matter if we have to sell few players to make space for him.
Reus and Alexis on either side would be quite frightening. A title winning frontline for me. Walcott for me is like Gibbs, talented but you cant rely on them in a title hunt because of injuries.
Though Bale maybe the better player, Reus is more value for money. But I guess these reports are more to do with trying to tie down Walcott on a contract which isn't too demanding on the club. But if true I think Alexis would play as a false 9.
Poor Kagawa gone to a club who might get relegated.
It is bizarre that neither Kagawa or Sahin had any impact!

Oh yeah because Reus isn't injruy prone
If we did get Reus we would have to sell a player or two
Reus has had injury problems for one year with the same knee problem. That dodmsnt make him injury prone. Walcott on the other hand has had injuries on every part of the human anatomy. Knee, ankle, shoulder, and every muscular injury imaginable.
Well Walcott is probably going to do his usual dallying over his contract negotiations, but his position isnt nearly as powerful this time around. If something was going to happen, Reus in Walcott out would suit me.
