It was a "Bob Fleming" sketch on The Fast Show, where the guest kept likening vegetables to genitalia.

"And if you look closely at this one, it looks like an old mans tadger"

Plus it's a nice JA friendly word, for those of us who don't have quick access to the vowels with accents and umlaut's on.

And it's a funny word.
