Both will start. Alexis will be out.

Alexis was given a rest with a tight hammy, Wenger confirmed he will be fine for Sat...

He is supposedly more experienced, and adds height, dont get me wrong I want Bellerin, but just a maybe, the bigger question is walcott or Ozil

Sanchez already missed the game at the Emirates. If fits, he deserved to play in the NLD.

Would be idiotic to start Chambers over Bellerin right now.

From a Spurs perspective would rather Ozil than Walcott playing

Should be a cracking match. A win for either side sends a statement.

Alex wasn't close to starting on Sunday and judging by how long our players take out from hamstrings suggests he won't be back anytime soon.

I would go with pave from flanks. No need to disrupt the City game model other than to change Ozil for sanchez

Would love Rosicky to play. He's done well in big games lately but with Ramsey, Cazorla and Ozil all fit he won't unfortunately

Walcott always scores v Spurs

Alexis will be fine, the guy is a beast, I bet he could have started on Sunday but was given a rest... or at least this is what I am hoping...

Would rest Sanchez, Ozil, Cazorla, Kos, Coquelin and Ramsey for this one tbh, should be a walk in the park

My team:

Ospina
Bellerin - Per - Kosc - gibbs
Ramsey - Coq - Cazorla
Walcott - Giroud - Sanchez

posted on 2/2/15

If Sanchez is fit I'd go with Ozil starting as Walcott is coming back from a long lay off so missing a game will take the pressure off a bit. He is also looking the rustier of the two and lets face it, we don't want passengers in the NLD.

Theres a good argument to just start the same team that played against Man C.

Has to be 4-14-1

4-3-3 is too open in an tough London Derby

That team has pace, energy and all can defend.

I still think 4-2-3-1 is our strongest formation with Ramsey a bit deeper than in a 4-1-4-1.

Or do you really mean 4-14-1. 19 players would be good though

I would play with Rosicky in midfield.

The formation will be 4-1-4-1. That has been the formation from day one this season. Its just in the last few weeks/month it has been executed slightly better with an all round better focus on defending, a more settled back four, a calming presence in goal, and a mobile DM with a passion for the tackle and some real discipline.

I too am sceptical in regard to Alexis' availability. Ramsey taken off against Gala as a precaution due to a strain. Out for a month. Welbeck picks up a slight strain against West Ham. Out for five weeks. Diaby has a slight groin strain. RIP.

The only thing Wenger confirmed was that Alexis was "not very close" to playing on Sunday. If he is available aces, if not I still think we have enough to do them.

If Sanchez is available, I think Walcott will drop out because Wenger loves Ozil. Plus I think with Welbeck and Walcott on the bench, we have a real threat with pace and power to bring on if we find ourselves losing.

Bringing Ozil on off the bench doesn't have much impact for me.

Rosicky should be nowhere near the starting line-up.

posted on 3/2/15

I would pick Ozil over Walcott, physically he is in better shape and has more match fitness under his belt. But if Welbeck is fit I would start him over either. And if Ox is fit I'd start him over all 3.

posted on 3/2/15

Ozil to start he's playing well. Walcott is a cracking impact substitute to have far better than I imagine Ozil would be

Coq's got to be odds on for a red card. It's coming sooner rather than later, and the NLD seems like an obvious time.
