Does it not annoy you that you assemble this greatly talented squads and try to eek out results playing percentage football?
Oh nvm I thought this was Chelsea board. Saw City and thought of them on sat.
Too often our expansive open game has left us reeling from some right hammering.
Wouldn't mind if we brought in more caution into our game
Tough decision this.
Think we will approach it in the same way we did City.
Eriksen and Kane are pretty good, keep them two quiet though and we will be OK. Hopefully Townsend and Lamela play.
Go on, attack.
You know you want to.
Spurs are not City, Chelsea or United
However they are good enough that it would be a good team to practise defensive tactics on
if you conceded first by some fluke then you can just go all out and score a handful
We're more than good enough to go to all of these places and play our own game. We just need to stop attacking with reckless abandon, throwing our full backs forward leaving loads of space for the opposition to attack.

This article poses a good question, one I was discussing with my mates at work. I say start cautious and grow into the game. Although I think we are superior to them in every way we can't take risks with the likes of kane and eriksen on fire. We need to take the Maureen approach more often:its not end of the world of you don't win but do not lose at any cost
Almost like in a boxing match where one is feeling the other out. Once our players realise they are better than them , then they can start taking more risks
Whatever tactics you use, Spurs will win, they are the better team. Don't say you were not warned.
sandy brown when better team you mean Lloris Eriksen Kane right
Is Wenger really going to throw out all he knows?
For what it's worth I think the OP is right, hitting us on the counter is probably the best way to play against us. Walcott always does well in the NLD's.. risky game these days though, with Kane and Eriksen to keep out.. Chadli coming back gives us the option running in behind too.
Should be a good game
Well we did it last year.
