hes got a point has damien.
I am certain had he been at spurs we would have signed Suarez and not liverpool as it was well publicised that it was between liverpool & spurs and we decided no as we had VDV
the rest is history
imagine the team with bale & suarez OMG!!!!
Lets face it, I wouldn't trust Harry with a shopping list for Aldi let alone £40m transfer kitty.
flappy tongued harry blaming other people again
doesn't sound like him.
Harry's career could be soo different if he just kept his mouth shut.
He just can't help himself...he's like an East-End town crier with a stall full of knock-off goods and discounts.
I bet he's going to have a reality show soon....
'Keepy Ups with the Redknapps' or something as corny as that
I thought Spurs fans did not rate Comolli.

The truth is not many fans actually know what a DoF does, I'm not sure if you can criticise or praise someone if you don't know what they do. I'm indifferent to his role.
One of the better decisions to employ Comolli, then in a typical Levy tantrum he was gone, then Martin Jol suffered the same fate.

Comolli went when Ramos left the club with us in the relegation zone.
So a typical Levy tantrum resulted in Redknapp coming in and us getting into the Champions League.
Also many of our fans at the time wanted Comolli to leave the club, partly due to the Jol situation and the Bent and Bentley blow out transfers.
Decent guy at spotting talent as shown by some of his Spurs and Liverpool purchases. Others have been big failures. And quite a number of failed players he signed were for big fees.

Every manager has failed signings..Man U bought Veron, Chelsea bought Shev, you could argue Ozil hasn't been value for money. I don't think DoFs are any worse than Managers. Where I think they help is with the admin side of things.

Spot on. If memory serves well I remember when he was at Liverpool most Spurs fans seemed to not rate him. He made some good signings but I don't think the DoF works especially here in England.

he should just quietly retire now, but he won't.
lets face it.. he hasn't achieved very much. 1 fa cup win and thats about it. did a good job at spurs overall, but screwed it all up in the end, and to be fair, he was given some outstanding players to work with.
Exactly. His media bum chums have elevated him above his station on the basis that he's always ready to provide them with a quote at will. Shame that he quit before he was sacked, but the timing of his resignation speaks volumes about him

A few fans also elevate Harry way above his station. He did a good job no doubt. But they make him out to be saviour of Spurs football.
People also forget the 'Money-bags' City project had not fully kicked in. Arguably AVB et al would also have finished in higher positions.
Anyway as a poster said 'he should retire..' I can only see him managing a second tier international football team moving forward.
