This is a Championship match so no Premier League players will be on show but there will be some ex ones and probably some future ones too

Big decision for Kenny today is how positive he is prepared to be. With Dicko, Afobe, Sako, Edwards, Van La Parra and Henry all available he at last has some real options up front to start improving the goals for column. Will he show a little less caution and go for it?
This is a tricky one;
Do I watch the 6 Nations, a Premier League game or follow the bolllox talked on here during the Wolves' game?
Decisions, decisions!
morning all!
well done on the matchday thread halfy - let's hope it's another winning one
apart from the injury to ikeme wolves are almost full strength in the squad now, and with sako/dicko/afobe available KJ has no excuses for fire power today. as you say DJ, it is going to be interesting how he sets the side up and how much intent we show
one of the biggest divisions between fans, during jackett's first championship season, is the balance between defensive solidity and attacking football. we're doing very well in terms of league position, but everyone can see that there's a frailty in the side and the balance is not quite right yet. KJ is a naturally cautious manager and won't want to change his style too much, but he'll know that he can expect increasing pressure from the home fans during the run in to may, to start to turn the 0-0 and 1-0 wins into more convincing scorelines.
I think it will be:
kusczak
iorfa batth stearman goldy

to start
but wouldn't be surprised to see

lol morning wolves55
see the matchday breakfast of raw meat and amphetamines has kicked in nicely
We should just go 4-2-4
Im not a fan of one up top
Afobe as a number 10 GB?!
This is it...
______________Kuszczak
Iorfa______Stearman___Batth_____Golbourne
__________Price_____McDonald
____Henry_____Edwards______Sako
_______________Dicko
As we are already winning Jackett doesn't need to throw on forwards and eventually decides to sub Afobe for Dicko. RVLP replaces a jet-lagged Sako on 65 mins and Hause replaces Golbourne late on.
A good 2-1 win (Dicko, Sako)
The forum is generally happy and the talk turns to Mick McCarthy and the Play-offs around 6pm with Cinci and Bute taking over the thread. DJ sticks a review in where he says Kenny was defensively cautious but we were largely untroubled by a poor Reading side.
Stop piddling about with this defensive crap
Go 2-3-5 and stuff, 'em
Playing 5 up front doesn't mean we will "stuff 'em", Wulfrun.
In the first international game, Scotland against England on 30 November 1872, England played with seven or eight forwards in a 1–1–8 or 1–2–7 formation, and Scotland with six, in a 2–2–6 formation. For England, one player would remain in defence, picking up loose balls, and one or two players would hang around midfield and kick the ball upfield for the other players to chase. The English style of play at the time was all about individual excellence and English players were renowned for their dribbling skills. Players would attempt to take the ball forward as far as possible and only when they could proceed no further, would they kick it ahead for someone else to chase. Scotland surprised England by actually passing the ball among players. The Scottish outfield players were organised into pairs and each player would always attempt to pass the ball to his assigned partner. Ironically, with so much attention given to attacking play, the game ended in a 0–0 draw.

Don't have the possession stats, though.
don't have the posters name stats either
Cyp, Wolfgang, wrongly attributed, not me Wulfrun. As you know I never get anything wrong.
Today's team:
Kusczak
Iorfa
Batth
Stearman
Golbourne
Price
McDonald
Henry
Sako
Afobe
Dicko
I emailed the team sheet to Kenny and, as usual, he didn't disagree. After last week, when he handled it quite well, I've allowed him to sort out the substitutions. We settled on Evans and Edwards coming on for Dicko and Sako after we take a three goal lead. Ebanks-Landell comes on late for Price after the opposition sneak a late consolation goal.
One each for Sako, Dicko and Afobe in a 3-1 win.
Happy days
I didn't say I would pick afobe as a number 10 pundit
I said I wouldn't be that surprised if KJ did
Has Uncle Sam wake up yet ?

Correct
This is the alleged line up from a guy who would release the team the same time as DJ used to.
Cant say I believe it but apparently this was Kenny's line up in training Friday as well.
Maybe a case of someone putting two and two together and getting five.
Kusczak
Doherty
Stearman
Barth
Golbourne
Evans
McDonald
Sako
Edwards
Van La Parra
Dicko
